MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Thursday, May 2
May 1, 2024Bet Strikeout Leader Futures Odds at Caesars Sportsbook
May 2, 2024Si Woo Kim is listed as the betting favorite for this week’s CJ CUP Byron Nelson in Texas. None of the world’s top players are in the field this week, as it is not a Signature Event. The highest ranked player in the field is Jordan Spieth and he isn’t even the top betting choice at Caesars. Kim is listed at +1400, while Spieth is +1600. Last year’s winner of this event, Jason Day, is next at odds of +2000. There should be some value on the board this week with the matchups. I am coming off a 2-3 week with the matchups at the Zurich Classic. Let’s look at CJ CUP Byron Nelson matchup picks.

Defending Champion: Jason Day
Tournament Notes: Expect some low scores this week, as TPC Craig Ranch has been one of the easiest courses on the PGA Tour schedule each season. The greens are easy to hit and that means putting will be extremely important this week. Storms are always a possibility for this event, so expect some wind and some rain at times throughout this tournament.

Golf Matchup Picks
Tom Hoge -110 vs. Adam Scott
Hoge has been good at TPC Craig Ranch with nine of his last ten rounds under 70. He tied for 17th in this event in 2022. He is playing well this year with seven top 20 finishes, including two top 10 finishes. I know that Scott won this event in 2008 but that was a long time ago. He did finish in a tie for 8th last year, but I think right now Hoge is simply the better golfer. I’ll take Hoge in this golf matchup.
Stephan Jaeger -145 vs. Thomas Detry
Jaeger is actually the only golfer to beat Scottie Scheffler of late, as he won the Houston Open. Jaeger is coming off a tie for 18th at the RBC Heritage a couple of weeks ago. Jaeger finished in a tie for 11th in this event a year ago. I’ll lay the price and take him in this golf betting matchup against Detry.
Maverick McNealy -140 Chan Kim
We know that putting is going to be a big key this week and McNealy can definitely roll it. Kim is getting a start in this event, but it is a step up in competition for him, as his usual play is on the Korn Ferry Tour. I’ll lay the price and take McNealy in this matchup.
Seamus Power -115 vs. Mark Hubbard
Power has had some success at TPC Craig Ranch in the past with a tie for 9th in 2021, a tie for 17th in 2022 and last year he tied for 19th. He is coming off a tie for 12th at Harbour Town. Power is starting to play well and I expect his good play to continue this week. I’ll take Power at the short price in this golf betting matchup against Hubbard.
Ben Griffin -120 vs. Beau Hossler
Why get off a winner? I go against Hossler on a regular basis and more often than not it pays off. Griffin is capable of putting up some low scores this week. I’ll take Griffin at the short price in this matchup.Check out the latest CJ CUP Byron Nelson matchup odds at Caesars.
