As we enter Week 7 of the 2024 United Football League season the question is: can anyone beat the Birmingham Stallions? The Stallions kept their record perfect with another romp last week, 39-21 over Memphis. Facing the largest UFL point spread in any game this season, Birmingham covered the 13-point line improving to 5-1 as a UFL pick against the spread. With their last two victories by an average of more than 20 points and four wins by at least 13 points, the Stallions have made it look easy. If they do get complacent they could be in for a jolt this week. In what could be a preview of the UFL championship game the Stallions host the St. Louis Battlehawks on Saturday as a 4.5-point favorite on the early UFL betting line. That’s the largest opening spread on the Week 7 board at Caesars sportsbook.
The matchup between division leaders will get all the attention in Week 7 but there are other games being played with playoff implications. The San Antonio Brahmas are just one game behind St. Louis in the XFL Conference and one game ahead of DC. The race tightened with the Defenders’ 18-12 upset last week. San Antonio looks to rebound with a matchup against the one-win Houston Roughnecks on Sunday to close the UFL betting week. Meanwhile, DC hosts Michigan with the Panthers firmly in second place in the XFL Conference.

Week 7 UFL Parlay Picks
I backed Arlington on the line in Weeks 4 and 5 as part of my UFL picks and parlay and lost both times. Last week I bet against them in their 28-27 loss to Michigan and was once again dealt a loss. Though the Renegades stayed within the 4-point UFL point spread they failed to get their first win with a last second field goal their undoing. It was Arlington’s second one-point loss of the year. My other two picks were winners with Birmingham covering in its win over Memphis and the Houston-St. Louis tilt playing below the total of 47. For the third straight week St. Louis will play with the highest total. The Battlehawks cashed the OVER in their Week 5 game with DC and hit the UNDER last week. They had gone over the UFL odds total in three consecutive games prior to last week.
Arlington Renegades -4
St. Louis / Birmingham UNDER
San Antonio Brahmas -3.5

If I learned anything from my recent UFL picks it’s that I shouldn’t bet Arlington. Welp, apparently I haven’t learned my lesson. The Renegades are a few breaks away from being a .500 team and in the middle of the playoff picture. Three of the losses were by 3-points or less with two of them by a single point. Michigan’s Jake Bates drilled a 42-yard field goal at the gun to hand Arlington a 28-27 setback. The good news is that even though the Memphis Showboats have a win they may be worse. The Boats have dropped five in a row surrendering more than 30 points in each of their last four games going 0-4 as a UFL betting pick.
The two highest scoring teams in the league should mean plenty of points in the Birmingham-St. Louis tilt. I’m not buying it though since they’re also the two best defensive teams. St. Louis allows just 222.3 yards and 17.2 points while the Stallions give up a UFL low 14.8 points and hold opponents to an average of 236,7 yards. Birmingham leads the UFL with 21 sacks and will apply enough pressure minimizing the effectiveness of A.J. McCarron and making the UNDER a UFL best bet.
My winning UFL parlay hits in San Antonio’s cover victory over Houston. A 3.5-point favorite on the UFL betting line, the Brahmas are coming off a sloppy 18-12 loss to DC where they committed two turnovers and had just 67 net passing yards. On the bright side the defense was stubborn holding its fifth opponent to fewer than 20 points and John Lovett rushed for a UFL season-high 153 yards. Houston has failed to score more than 20 points in a game and was held to single-digits in each of the last two games going 0-2 as a UFL spread pick catching at least 7.5 points.
