MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Monday, May 20
May 17, 2024Saturday, May 18 NBA Playoff Parlay Picks
May 17, 2024It was a case of so close yet so far away with last Sunday’s MLB parlay picks after cashing one in and the other two coming one leg short of sealing the deal. We ended up pushing the first five innings under in the D’backs/Orioles matchup with the 2 ER conceded by Zac Gallen just coming in under the 2.5-run impost. Jack Flaherty gave us 6.2 strong innings and exceeded his K prop, but it wasn’t enough due to his offense having no answer for Justin Verlander who churned out the best showing of the campaign against his former mates. We then came one more hit surrendered by Walker Buehler away from cashing the 3-leg SGP after the Padres scored the 4-0 shutout win behind a dominant performance from Yu Darvish. Let’s see if we can once again add to the bankroll at Caesars Sportsbook on the day of rest – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

Seattle Mariners vs. Baltimore Orioles MLB Same Game Parlay:
Coming off an outing in which he matched his season-high with 10 strikeouts, Dean Kremer will toe the bump in the finale of this three-game set with the Mariners in-line for another huge showing in the K department. Averaging 9.2 strikeouts and a career-best 6.3 hits allowed per nine innings, it’s highly likely the right-hander will improve those outputs with Seattle continuing to struggle at the plate and go down on strikes at a historic rate.
It’s nearly impossible to believe, but Julio Rodriguez and co. are striking out at a 28.5% clip overall which is 2+ percentage points worse than the second-worst team in the league (Rockies). Kremer’s gone for 10 K in half his last four starts, so we’ll fire away confidently and expect another absurd tally to be logged against the free-swinging M’s en route to another emphatic O’s win.

Oakland A’s vs. Kansas City Royals MLB Same Game Parlay:
Kansas City continues to be one of the best stories of the baseball betting season. They’re currently nestled in second place of the AL Central 1.5-games in back of the Guardians for division supremacy. On top of that, Matt Quatraro (+280) is the second choice to win AL Manager of the Year behind Cleveland’s Matthew Vogt (+250), while Bobby Witt Jr. (+225) is neck-and-neck with Juan Soto (+200) to take home AL MVP honors at Caesars.
But what does all that mean for this afternoon’s home finale with the Oakland A’s? It means I’m all in on Salvador Perez and co. taking it to the visitors who will march the unpredictable J.P. Sears to the starting bump to make his 10th start of the season. You simply just never know what you’re going to get when it comes to this left-hander. One day, he’ll go out and throw six shutout innings against the Yankees, and then follow it up with 6.1 innings of 7 ER ball with 3 HR allowed to the Orioles. With Brady Singer doing his best work at home (2.27 ERA) and under the sun (1.61 ERA), we’ll ride KC to victory and look for the offense to get to Sears early and often.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Los Angeles Dodgers MLB Same Game Parlay:
In arguably the starting pitching matchup of Sunday’s MLB betting slate, Hunter Greene will square off against Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the finale of the extended four-game series between the Reds and Dodgers. A funny thing happened for the Reds staff ace in his last start. It was deduced that he could be successful if walks were limited – who knew?! All jokes aside, he only served up a single walk and Cincinnati beat the D’backs on the road to avenge the loss incurred a week prior. The last time he walked a single batter, the Reds won 7-0 in Arlington after he tossed seven innings of shutout ball.
But can he pull it off against the Dodgers in Tinseltown? That my friends is the million dollar question that must be answered if in fact Cincy is to compete against a locked in Yamamoto who has helped lead Los Angeles to MLB odds wins each of the last four times he toed the starting bump. In the process, the right-hander only conceded 19 hits and 6 ER with a 23:5 K/BB ratio through 25.2 combined innings. With this the ultimate litmus test for Cincinnati’s third-year hurler, I expect him to rise to the occasion and for this game to play out to the pitcher’s duel under bettors deserve regardless of issuing a few too many walks.
