MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Monday, May 27
May 24, 2024Saturday, May 25 NBA Playoff Parlay Picks
May 24, 2024Last Sunday’s MLB parlay picks came one Hunter Greene walk away from sweeping the entire board! The glorious day all started early in Baltimore where the Orioles scored the 6-3 win over the Mariners with Corbin Burnes destroying his 6.5-strikeout prop by sending 11 Mariners down on strikes. That same game parlay cash was followed up by another after the Royals cashed on the moneyline by defeating the A’s 8-4 with Brady Singer only allowing 1 ER through six innings and J.P. Sears coming five outs short of toppling his pitching outs prop. Though Yamamoto was scratched for Sunday’s finale, the game still played to an easy low scorer, but Greene’s two issued walks weren’t enough; we needed three. Let’s see if we mimic last week’s showing and add to the bankroll at Caesars Sportsbook on the day of rest – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Cincinnati Reds MLB Same Game Parlay:
The Dodgers and Reds close their three-game series out in the GAB a week from the day of closing their series out in Tinseltown. After Cincy took last week’s opener as huge underdogs, LA went on to rattle off three straight dubs to log the series win and move to 5-5 versus the closing baseball odds in the last 10 meetings of these historic franchises. Neither Yoshinobu Yamamoto nor Andrew Abbott threw in that extended four-game series giving each arm an advantage early on in the finale.
The Japanese import has been nothing short of awesome for LA since the calendar turned to May in leading the Dodgers to four straight wins while only conceding 22 hits (3 HR) and 8 ER with a 24:5 K/BB ratio over 26 total innings of work. Through four road starts, Yamamoto’s allowed 4 ER with a 26:7 K/BB ratio through 22.2 innings good for a 1.59 ERA and 1.06 WHIP. Abbott is yet to win a game at home and stands 0-2, but his 3.14 ERA and 5 ER allowed through 14.1 innings lets it be known he can handle himself in the hitting haven that is Great American Ball Park. With that, I expect runs to be tough to come by early on with this being the getaway day game and both offenses acclimating themselves to arms they’re yet to see this MLB betting season.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Los Angeles Angels MLB Same Game Parlay:
We cashed a nice 3-leg SGP involving the Angels earlier this week when they scored the shocking 9-7 comeback win over the Astros after trailing 5-1 through four innings. The Halos offense has come alive in the recent week with it plating an average of 6.0 runs per game with the trio of Taylor Ward, Logan O’Hoppe, and Jo Adell continuing to rip the cover off the ball. I don’t expect that trend to fizzle out in the finale of this one with LA set to stare back at Ben Lively who’s been a much different pitcher on the road (4.05 ERA) than at home (1.50 ERA).
Per Baseball Savant, the Angels have been average versus 4-seamers, but have teed off on splitters with a bulk of the lineup boasting impressive run values against the pitch type. If Lively’s speed ball isn’t hitting, he’ll be up Schitt’s Creek! Adding to my belief that the finale plays to a high scorer is a struggling Reid Detmers who will get the starting nod for the 11th time. The lefty has been peppered for at least 4 ER in each of his last six starts, and he’s been horrendous within the “Big A” where his ERA clocks in at 6.43 and batting average against .295. He already threw at Cleveland once this season and served up 3 HR and 7 ER through 5.2 innings. With each hurler allowing 8+ hits per nine, look for the offenses to hold the upper hand Sunday afternoon.

Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals MLB Same Game Parlay:
I don’t know what Javier Assad has on the baseball gods that they continue to let the right-hander get away with it. Maybe he’s got receipts or adult pics/videos stashed that allow him to do so. Whatever it is, I’m here for it and will continue to treat this guy like the unicorn he’s proven to be. His page at Pitcher List is painted blue save for his W/L record (4-0), innings pitched (48.1), ERA (1.49), WHIP (1.03), and K percentage (21.6%). His sinker, cutter, 4-seamer, and slider arsenal has tallied a 7.8 swinging strike percentage (#187) and 26.9 called strikes + whiffs percentage (#140). Again, I simply don’t understand the voodoo that he do!
Even so, the Cardinals long in the tooth batting lineup has underperformed all year and I see no reason to believe it steps to the forefront in this one either. Assad threw 11.1 innings of six hit and 2 ER ball at the Redbirds last season, and owns 1.65 ERA against them lifetime. I’ll throw caution to the wind here and look for runs to be tough to come by in the weekly installment of Sunday Night Baseball with the righty set to match wits with Sonny Gray whose been nothing short of lights out at home where he’s 3-1 against the MLB odds with a 1.13 ERA and .186 BAA through 24.0 innings over four starts.
