MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Wednesday, July 3
July 1, 2024MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Thursday, July 4
July 2, 2024Sungjae Im is favored to win this week’s John Deere Classic in Illinois. We are a couple of weeks before the Open Championship and none of the world’s top players are in the field this week, so there are a lot of players who could win. Im is listed at odds of +1400 at Caesars and he is followed by Jordan Spieth and Sepp Straka at +1600. We have seen some big prices on some of the winners this season on the PGA Tour, as just last week it was Cam Davis hitting at odds of 70-1. The possibility of another big payout exists this week. Sepp Straka will look to become the first repeat winner at the John Deere since Steve Stricker who won three straight from 2009-2011. Let’s look at John Deere Classic odds and picks.
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Check out the latest John Deere Classic odds at Caesars.
Venue: TPC Deere Run is a par 71 that measures 7,289 yards. It is considered one of the easiest courses on the PGA Tour so except some low scores this week.
Last Year: Sepp Straka shot a 9-under par 62 on Sunday to win by two shots over Brendon Todd and Alex Smalley. Adam Schenk and Ludvig Aberg tied for fourth place.

Favorite
Sungae Im +1400
It was another favorite not named Scottie Scheffler losing last week, as Tom Kim didn’t even make the cut as the betting favorite at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. I say on a weekly basis that golf betting favorites are a losing proposition overall except for Scheffler so taking Im is a bit risky. That being said, Im is a very lukewarm favorite and you do get +1400 so he is at least worth a look as the favorite this week.
Golf Picks
Denny McCarthy +2200
McCarthy has had a solid season with two top 10 finishes and nine top 30 finishes. He is one of the best putters on the PGA Tour and we know what putting will be a big key this week. Previous winners like Zach Johnson, JT Poston and Brian Harman all putted their way to victories at TPC Deere Run. McCarthy finished tied for 6th in his last two appearances in this event. This could be the week where McCarthy finally gets his first PGA Tour win.
Keith Mitchell +2500
Mitchell is known as a bomber but he has proven he can win on shorter courses as well. He has good numbers in a number of categories beyond driving. He has proven he can get hot with the putter and shoot low scores. I’ll take him at odds of 25-1.
Seamus Power +5000
A player who does well on easier courses is Power. He was 7th heading into the final round at the RBC Heritage and finished 12th. He had good finishes at the Wells Fargo, the Memorial and the Travelers and those were tougher fields than this one. He has played well in this event in the past and he is definitely not without a chance this week and we get 50-1.
Eric Cole +5500
Cole is still looking for his first PGA Tour win and it might come this week. He was close a lot last year and couldn’t close the deal. He hasn’t played as well this season but short courses are where he shines and he is coming off a top 10 last week in Detroit.
Ben Griffin +6000
Griffin is another player who could hit at a big price this week. He has four top 10 finishes in the last 10 months and he loves the short courses. He has solid stats on short courses and we get a good price on him this week.
Joel Dahmen +11000
My bomb this week is on Dahmen who has been playing well lately. He played well in Canada and finished 10th on a short course and last week he was in the mix until Sunday. He definitely shouldn’t be listed at odds of more than 100-1 but that is what we get this week.Check out the latest John Deere Classic odds at Caesars.
