Maryland Sports Bettors Get More Options
July 4, 2024MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Monday, July 8
July 5, 2024We ended up splitting last Saturday’s MLB parlay picks failing to cash a single leg of the Yankees/Blue Jays SGP and cashing all legs in the matchup between the Pirates and Braves. Once again, Chris Bassitt was able to dig deep down into his bag of tricks and stymy the Yankees with six innings of 1 unearned run ball to lead Toronto to the dominant 9-3 win and even his record up at 6-6 for the year. The story was much more kind to the bankroll in the nightcap with Paul Skenes and Max Fried dueling as expected leading to Atlanta ultimately going on to win 2-1 in extras and help silence what would’ve been a gut-wrenching loss on the under. Let’s keep adding to the roll over at Caesars Sportsbook with another batch of Saturday night MLB parlay leg recommendations – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Bet Major League Baseball at Caesars Sportsbook
Milwaukee Brewers vs. Los Angeles Dodgers MLB Same Game Parlay:
We got involved with the opener of the series last night and predicted a pitcher’s duel would play out with Peralta and Glasnow on a collision course. We’ll hold an entirely different frame of mind in the meat game of the series sandwich with Bryse Wilson and James Paxton set to square off. We faded the former Monday night in Coors and he didn’t disappoint getting tagged for seven hits (2 HR) and 5 ER through his four innings of work. Even with big bats out of LA’s current lineup, I don’t expect his weak sauce arsenal to get in the way of Shohei Ohtani and co doing their thing. The guy simply just walks too many batters (3.2) and gives up too many long balls (1.5) per nine innings. Look for Los Angeles to get theirs!
That being said, Milwaukee is more than likely to hang a crooked number themselves running up against what’s been a struggling James Paxton. The Big Maple’s start to his time in Tinseltown got out to a promising start in April (3.51 ERA) and May (3.08 ERA), but it all came crashing down in June when he was ripped for 25 hits (2 HR) and 17 ER with a 22:10 K/BB ratio over 23.3 total innings spanning five starts. Though the Brewers have had some issues with LHP in averaging 3.6 runs per game (#25), I think Paxton’s time as a dominant pitcher has come and gone. Milwaukee has still plated 4.5 runs per game on the road (#12) and 5.1 runs per game over the last week cashing over tickets at a 6-1 clip. This should play to a wild back and forth high scoring affair with neither starter long for the festivities.

Kansas City Royals vs. Colorado Rockies MLB Same Game Parlay:
The Rockies came through for us to kick off the week when they ousted the Brewers 8-7 in extras to win as moderate sized home dogs per the closing MLB odds. We relied on Austin Gomber in that one and he pitched decently limiting Milwaukee to 4 ER on nine hits through six innings. Unfortunately, his bullpen took the win away from him in the eighth after giving up three runs and the lead. The showing was still however the fifth straight the left-hander conceded at least 4 ER. That simply won’t fly against Bobby Witt Jr. and co with the Royals lineup one of the toughest southpaws have had to deal with to date with it batting .261 as a team (#9) and scoring an average of 4.9 runs per game (#8). I get that KC’s sticks have been marred in a recent slump, but Gomber’s four pitch mix could be just what the doctor ordered should he not be able to locate with the 4-seamer.
It may have taken nine years in the Bigs for things to click, but boy have they done exactly just that for Seth Lugo whose proven start in and start out to be one of the driving forces to the Royals success this baseball betting season. He picked up his eleventh win last time out after spinning six innings of shutout ball with 10 K against the Guardians to help his teammates eat into Cleveland’s lead atop the AL Central standings. That makes it two straight starts of shutout ball with 18 K logged to just three walks allowed. The dude is locked in right now and he gets the benefit of throwing at a Colorado offense that strikes out at the third highest rate in the game (25.5%) that’s 19-games under .500 against RHP (-$510). Look for the offense to give him an ample amount of early run support allowing him to cut through Colorado’s lineup like a warm knife through butter and add another tally in the win column.
