MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Sunday, August 4
August 3, 2024MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Monday, August 5
August 3, 2024We ended up cashing four of six MLB parlay picks last Saturday to build off Friday’s sweep of the board. Blake Snell and the Giants got the day started off on the right foot after the left-hander struck out 15 of the 20 overall batters faced en route to leading San Francisco to the 4-1 triumph. Would’ve been nice to see more damage inflicted upon Ryan Feltner! The D’backs then went on to slug their way to the 9-5 win over the Pirates, but Brandon Pfaadt served up 5 ER through his six innings regardless of tallying the dub. Let’s keep the mojo rising at Caesars Sportsbook with another installment of MLB parlay leg recommendations – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Cleveland Guardians MLB Same Game Parlay:
We backed the homebased Guardians in the opener of this extended four-game series, but will reverse course and ride the visiting O’s on Saturday night. Zach Eflin will be making his pitching debut for Baltimore, and I expect the veteran right-hander’s juices to be flowing. He’s getting longer in the tooth these days, so being thrown into the starting rotation of a contender just might be the elixir needed to get his game back on track. While this will be his first career start in Progressive against a Cleveland offense that raked him in the past, the righty will persevere and give the Orioles the six innings needed to register the quality start and potential win against the closing MLB odds.
He’ll be in that position largely due to Gunnar Henderson and Co. likely getting to what’s proven to be an inconsistent Tanner Bibee. The righty enters start No. 23 a rock solid 9-4 with a 3.48 ERA, but he’s been most susceptible in his home digs where the ERA clocks in at 3.99 with 50 hits (6 HR) allowed through 58.2 innings of work. Three of his last four outings have come against the weak-hitting Tigers. Baltimore will prove to be a more formidable foe with its offense possessing a number of eye-opening run values against his 4-pitch arsenal largely predicated by his 4-seamer’s success. He’s had major issues executing the secondaries, so if not missing bats and getting called strikes with the heater, it’ll be lights out baby!

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Oakland Athletics MLB Same Game Parlay:
It’s been rough sailing for the Dodgers of late with the NL West frontrunners seeing their lead atop the standings shrink to 4.5-games after dropping two straight in Petco. The series defeat comes off dropping two of three against the baseball betting odds to the Astros in Houston. Though Dave Roberts’ squad remains on the road for this three-game interleague set against the Athletics, I thoroughly expect LA to flex its offensive muscles on Saturday night running up against Mitch Spence and his underwhelming stuff. Should his cutter miss the mark in this one, the righty will have a whale of a time navigating through a Dodgers lineup that mashes the slider and sinker per Stat Cast. Though Oakland’s bullpen ranks out as a top-5 unit over the last few weeks, the damage done might simply be too much to overcome once called upon.
That has everything to do with LA boosting their starting rotation by trading for Jack Flaherty before the deadline. The right-hander had been having a major bounceback campaign with the Tigers, and I firmly expect his success to carry over to his new team, especially since he’s pitching with a chip on his shoulder. On April 7, in just his second start of the season, Oakland tagged him for nine hits (1 HR) and 6 earned runs over six innings. To this day, that’s the most hits Flaherty has conceded all year. Expect a heavy dose of retribution from the righty, who will be eager to make a strong first impression on his new teammates. He’ll do so by carving up an A’s lineup that sports a 25.6% K rate (#31) against right-handed pitching for the season.
