TOUR Championship Odds and Picks
August 27, 2024Clemson vs. Georgia Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
August 29, 2024The TOUR Championship begins on Thursday with the top 30 players in the FedExCup Standings competing for the FedExCup Championship. While all 30 are said to have a chance, there are really only a few players who can win the title. Scottie Scheffler will start at 10-under par and Xander Schauffele begins at 8-under par. The starting scores go down accordingly all the way to even par. Scheffler is a solid favorite to win the TOUR Championship with Schauffele a clear second choice in the betting odds at Caesars. The all or nothing continued last week with the matchups, as the tough times continued. I was on a great run for about a month and now it has been ugly for the past few weeks. This week is completely different with the staggered starts, so who knows what to expect. Let’s look at TOUR Championship matchup picks.
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Check out the latest TOUR Championship matchup odds at Caesars.
Tournament Notes: East Lake is familiar to the players as the course for this event, but the greens this year will be brand new. Last year the scoring average at East Lake was 68.758 but that was as a par 70. This year the course is a par 71, as it is 144 yards longer than a year ago.

Golf Matchup Picks
Rory McIlroy -130 vs. Collin Morikawa
I picked McIlroy as one of my longshots in the preview article, so why not take him here? He has proven in the past that he can start from behind and win this event and I expect him to play well this week. Morikawa has not been playing as well of late and I don’t know that he turns it around this week.
Sahith Theegala +160 vs. Sungjae Im
This is simply a price play on Theegala, as there is no way that Im should be almost a 2-1 favorite. I know Theegala can be inconsistent but I consider him at least as good as Im, if not better, and we get a big price.
Aaron Rai -145 vs. Christiaan Bezuidenhout
There is no question that Rai has had a very good season. He will be making his East Lake debut and there is no reason he can’t continue his strong play, as he has been on fire of late with strong ball-striking. Bezuidenhout will also be making his debut. I’ll lay the number and take Rai in this golf betting matchup.
Tom Hoge -120 vs. Chris Kirk
Hoge just continues to put up good numbers. He played well in this event two years ago when he started in a tie for 21st and made it up to 10th. This will be the first time Kirk has made the finale in 10 years. I think Hoge is better suited to do well at East Lake and I will take him in this golf matchup.
Viktor Hovland -145 vs. Tommy Fleetwood
Hovland has finally started to play well and although he is likely too far back to win this event, he figures to play well again. Fleetwood did well just to make it into this event and I don’t see him making any noise this week.Check out the latest TOUR Championship matchup odds at Caesars.
