Colorado vs. Nebraska Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
September 5, 2024Tennessee vs. NC State Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
September 5, 2024Last Friday’s MLB parlay picks produced a solid 4-2 showing that got us back in the black off a mini hiatus. Had we gotten just one more out from Shota Imanaga, the night would’ve been even better though we’ll take solace in the Cubs hot streak continuing after taking the series opener from the Nats. We then went on to sweep the full same game parlay in Texas after the A’s logged the dominant 9-2 win over the Rangers as moderate sized road dogs. Oakland battered Jon Gray getting the righty for 4 ER before exiting without seeing the fifth inning. It was enjoyable banking some units on the behalf of BetMGM Sportsbook, so let’s do it again with another batch of parlay legs for Friday night – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Atlanta Braves MLB Same Game Parlay:
After getting a gift from the fantasy gods in the form of the Colorado Rockies to kick off the week, the Atlanta Braves will get another through the weekend when the underachieving Toronto Blue Jays come to town for an interleague clash against the MLB odds. Though not mathematically eliminated from wild card contention, it’s pretty much all over but the crying for a BJs outfit that’s largely been a huge disappointment over the last two baseball betting seasons. That being said, the starting pitching staff has routinely been one of the best in the league and one of the components of the rotation will take the bump in the series opener with Kevin Gausman set to make his 28th start. The book on the righty has been extremely easy to read: fade him at home and back him on the road.
Of his 13 made road starts, Toronto has come out on top nine times with the under cashing at a 46 percent clip. At home, the right-hander sports a 5.49 ERA and .255 batting average against. On the road, the ERA is down to 2.52 and BAA .226. On top of that, he’s only conceded 63 hits and racked up 68 strikeouts over 75.0 innings of work. I’m personally not bullish on Atlanta holding onto the third and final wild card slot. Not with all the injuries incurred paired with the Cardinals, Cubs, and Mets getting hot at the right time. Max Fried hasn’t been nearly as dominant since coming off the IL evidenced by his 1-3 record and 4.96 ERA. For one reason or another, the lefty has also been at his worst within Truist (4.05 ERA) where Atlanta’s dropped each of his last three made starts. He should excel in this spot however with Toronto ranked 27th against LHP overall (.231) and hitting .223 versus southpaws over the last 30 days (#23). I’m banking on a pitcher’s duel busting out in the opener.

Cincinnati Reds vs. New York Mets MLB Same Game Parlay:
The starter for the Reds is yet to be announced at the time of this writing, but that simply doesn’t matter to me with Sean Manaea set to take the bump for the Mets in the series opener. Cincinnati has proven time and time again that it’s allergic to hitting left-handed pitching, and New York’s southpaw is in the midst of a moneymaking heater right now that I refuse to ignore. The results have been tough to stomach for the ‘Natti who for the year are batting a rancid .231 against southpaws (#26) with a .376 slugging percentage (#24) and .691 OPS (#21). Through 261 at-bats dating back to August 1, they’re batting an even tougher to stomach .215 (#27)!
Whether Manaea’s in-season turnaround is for real or just one of many baseball anomalies, it’s one I’ll have no reservations riding on the baseball betting lines with the left-hander currently locked in at the moment. While it could all come back to bite him in this spot with the lefty averaging 3.2 BB/9 and the Reds ranked amongst the top-12 in the league at talking walks (8.3%), I’ll bank on the good times continuing to roll with Manaea only allowing 24 hits (4 HR) and 12 ER with a 42:8 K/BB ratio over his last 37.2 innings spanning six overall starts. He’s conceded four or fewer hits in four of his last five starts with the D’backs and Orioles in the mix. He’s logged the dub in five of his last six home starts, and I expect him to be in a position to log yet another once this one’s in the books.
