The last event of the 2024 LIV Golf regular season is the LIV Golf Chicago tournament that begins on Friday. The individual champion will be determined this week and it will be Jon Rahm or Joaquin Niemann winning the title, as all other players have been mathematically eliminated. Rahm leads Niemann by less than three points so it basically comes down to which player finishes higher this week. Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC team leads the team standings and this week will determine the seeding for next week’s Team Championship event in Dallas. Jon Rahm is listed as the favorite at Caesars to win this week’s LIV Golf Chicago event at odds of +500. Bryson DeChambeau is actually second in terms of golf betting odds at +700 and Tyrrell Hatton is next at +800. Niemann is actually the fourth choice in the betting at +900. Golf betting favorites on the LIV Golf Tour have been awful for most of this season, but Rahm did win in the UK as the golf betting favorite and he has been the only LIV Golf favorite to win this season. Venue: Bolingbrook Golf Club is a par 70 that measures 7,076 yards. It features Bent/Poa fairways and greens and the course has seven lakes scattered throughout the layout. One of the signature holes is the par-4 15th that is just 342 yards and could be drivable for some of the players.

Favorite
Jon Rahm +500
Rahm could not duplicate his win in the UK, as he was beaten at the Greenbrier, losing to Koepka in a playoff. Rahm is listed as the favorite again this week and he has been the favorite in almost all of the LIV Golf events this season. Rahm is definitely capable of winning, but I am not taking him at this price and as the favorite.
Golf Picks
Tyrrell Hatton +800
Hatton just couldn’t get his putter going at Old White Course, but he still ranks 3rd in putting this season. He also ranks fifth and 10th in scrambling and GIR respectively.
Joaquin Niemann +900
I am a little surprised Niemann isn’t second in the betting odds behind Rahm. He is tied for third in greens in regulation this season and on this course, it should be all about accurate approach shots. I think Niemann has a little value at this number.
Talor Gooch +2000
Gooch has played well lately with a couple of good finishes and he will want to get a win to end the year after winning the Individual Championship last season. He ranks sixth, seventh and 11th this season in driving accuracy, scrambling and putting average, respectively.
Louis Oosthuizen +2000
You have to like the form of Oosthuizen who as fourth at Andalucia sixth in the UK and eighth at Greenbrier. He is a player who is accurate off the tee and he is outstanding in scrambling. He might just put it all together this week.
Abraham Ancer +3000
