October 8, 2024NFL Week 6 Parlay Picks
October 9, 2024The FedExCup Fall schedule continues with a brand-new event from Southern Utah, the Black Desert Championship that begins on Thursday. Not many big names are making the trip, so it is Keith Mitchell who is listed as the favorite at golf betting odds of +1600 at Caesars. He is followed by Chris Kirk and Seamus Power at +2200. The FedExCup Fall schedule has been a struggle for us with the matchups, as it hasn’t been very good the past two week. Let’s see if we can turn the corner with this new tournament in Utah. Let’s look at this week’s Black Desert Championship matchup picks.
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Check out the latest Black Desert Championship matchup odds at Caesars.
Tournament Notes: This course just outside St. George, Utah is located about two hours from Las Vegas. It is a par 71 that plays pretty easy for the pros. The fairways are wide and the greens are large. The weather is expected to be good so scores are going to be low this week.

Golf Matchup Picks
Keith Mitchell -140 vs. Beau Hossler
I know that Hossler played well last week, losing in a playoff, but count me as one who is still not sold. I think Mitchell is the better player and this course should suit him well, as he can bomb it and set up short approach shots. Mitchell tied for 3rd last week and I like him in this PGA golf betting matchup against one of my go-against players, Hossler.
Seamus Power -140 vs. Patrick Rodgers
I go against Rodgers on a regular basis and usually do well. Power played well last week with a tie for 11th and he has now made the cut in eight straight events worldwide. He has six top 20 finishes since April and in his last 28 rounds in PGA Tour events his scoring average is just under 68. I’ll lay the price and take him in this PGA golf betting matchup against Rodgers.
Ben Griffin -110 vs. Chan Kim
If it seems like Griffin plays nearly every week; he does. This will be his 30th start of the season, second-most on the PGA Tour. He is 62nd in the FedExCup standings so this is a big week for him, as he looks to move into the Aon Next 10. He has eight top 20 finishes and I expect him to play well this week. I’ll take him at the short price in golf odds against Kim.
Matt McCarty -150 vs. Max McGreevy
I think McCarty is capable of being in the mix for the win this week. We will start seeing his name on leaderboards more and more. I know that McGreevy is playing well on the Korn Ferry Tour just like McCarty and he finished in a tie for 7th in the last event. I still think McCarty is the better player and I’ll lay the golf betting price.
Kurt Kitayama -135 vs. Chris Kirk
Kitayama doesn’t live far away in Las Vegas, so he should appreciate this event in Utah. He has missed the cut only four times this season. He has two top 10 finishes and three other top 25 finishes. I’ll lay the price and take him in this golf betting matchup against Kirk.Check out the latest Black Desert Championship matchup odds at Caesars.
