October 9, 2024NFL Week 6 Parlay Recap
We are coming off two winning parlays in Week 6, as the favorites parlay and the line moves parlay both won. Since we are giving out four two-team NFL parlays each week we almost break even with one parlay coming through and we make money if we get two or more NFL parlay winners. That was the case in Week 6, as the Texans and Bills came through in the favorites parlay, while the line moves parlay was an easy winner with Chicago and Tampa Bay. Let’s recap NFL Week 6 parlay results.
NFL Week 6 Favorites Parlay Recap
The favorites parlay came through this week with the Texans and Bills winning their games. Houston controlled their game against the Patriots from start to finish and the result was never in doubt. The Buffalo win was tougher, as it was a tight game on Monday night against the Jets but the Bills got a late field goal while the Jets continually missed kicks.
NFL Week 6 Line Moves Parlay Recap
The line moves parlay was an easy winner this week. The Bears were in complete control against the Jaguars and rolled over Jacksonville in the early London game on Sunday. It was just as easy in the other half of the parlay, as Tampa Bay scored at will in a rout of New Orleans.
NFL Week 6 Underdogs Parlay Recap
The underdogs parlay has been very successful this season, but it did not come through this past week. The Commanders hung with the Ravens but still lost by 7 points as a 6.5-point dog. That would have been a tough one to stomach, losing by just a half point but the other half of this parlay was never in doubt, as the Cowboys were humiliated at home by Detroit.
NFL Week 6 Go Against the Public Parlay Recap
The go against the public parlay has usually done well but not last week as the Panthers were outscored by Atlanta and the Raiders looked pathetic in a loss to the Steelers.
NFL Week 6 Parlay Picks
After having a great Week 4 with the NFL parlay picks, the winning game to a crashing halt in Week 5. Nothing went right for the NFL parlay picks in Week 5 with teams like Tampa Bay and Buffalo finding new ways to lose. We said last week to enjoy a great Week 4 because losses inevitably happen. Not even the Underdog Parlay could save the week, as Derek Carr was terrible in a loss to Kansas City on Monday night. We have said in the past that if we can win just one of our four parlays each week we’ll almost break even and when we hit more than one parlay we’ll do well because two-team NFL parlays pay out at 2.6-1. Let’s look to bounce back in a big way in Week 6. Here are NFL Week 6 parlay picks.

NFL Week 6 Favorites Parlay
Houston Texans -7 at New England Patriots
I thought the Patriots were one of the worst teams in the NFL before the season began and it is now starting to look like that is the case. Jacoby Brissett is not a quality starting quarterback in the NFL and the Patriots have realized this and are starting rookie Drake Maye this week. Maye doesn’t have much talent around him. Houston should be able to score enough points to cover this number.
Buffalo Bills -2.5 at New York Jets
The Jets fired Robert Saleh this week and I don’t know that they get things fixed right away. The Bills didn’t play that well last week and still were very much in their game against Houston. The downfall of the Jets may just be starting, so I’ll lay the points and take the Bills.
NFL Week 6 Underdogs Parlay
Washington Commanders +6.5 at Baltimore Ravens
I have said previously that I believe in the Commanders. They are not a fluke at all and I am not getting off the bandwagon. I think they can go into Baltimore and win this game outright. The Ravens definitely can’t be trusted laying points. I’ll take Washington in this one.
Dallas Cowboys +3 vs. Detroit Lions
I was on the Cowboys last week plus the points and they won outright and they could win outright again this week. I am not a Prescott or McCarthy fan, but Dallas is at home and Detroit’s defense doesn’t scare anyone. I think the Cowboys will put up their share of points and this game will be close.
NFL Week 6 Line Moves Parlay
Chicago Bears -2.5 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The public is falling in love with the Bears on a regular basis and it is happening again this week. The Jaguars got their win last week but still didn’t look good doing it, especially on defense. The line move is on the Bears in this one.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers -2.5 at New Orleans Saints
The Saints might have a backup quarterback in this one, as Derek Carr is hurt. The Bucs are probably the better team whether Carr plays or not, as New Orleans didn’t look good at all against the Chiefs. The line move has the Bucs in this one.
NFL Week 6 Go Against the Public Parlay
Carolina Panthers +6 vs. Atlanta Falcons
The public remembers what they saw with the Falcons scoring a lot of points last week and Carolina is a go-against team for the public on a regular basis. This one is no surprise, as we go against the public and take the points with the Panthers.
Las Vegas Raiders +3 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
The public doesn’t like what they have seen with the Raiders of late and it is hard to argue, as Minshew and O’Connell don’t inspire much confidence. The Steelers are not very good on offense either, but the public is backing them in this one so that means we take the Raiders plus the points.Bet Week 6 NFL Games at BetMGM.
