UFC 272 on Saturday night is headlined by the fight between Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal. These two fighters were best friends at one time, but now they are fierce enemies, so we could see some fireworks in the main event. Covington is listed as more than a 3-1 favorite in UFC odds in this fight. We’ll look at some UFC 272 props for this fight and also look at some UFC props for a few other fights, including Sergey Spivak vs. Greg Hardy, Marina Rodriguez vs. Yan Xiaonan, Maryna Moroz vs. Mariya Agapova and Manon Fiorot vs. Jessica Eye.

Covington vs. Masvidal Prop Picks

The price on Covington to win this fight is almost 4-1 and that seems really high for a bitter rivalry fight. If you like Covington to win then you may be better off just taking him to win by decision at -112. Those were the odds listed at SugarHouse Sportsbook. If you think Masvidal is going to win then the value is probably on him on the moneyline at +265 instead of the props. Sometimes I will throw a couple darts at the big prices and I think Masvidal winning by decision at +900 is at least worth a flyer. If you think that these two will throw haymakers and one or the other will finish the fight quickly then taking the fight to end in Round 1 at +400 has some value.

Spivak vs. Hardy Prop Picks

Why is this fight on the main card? Do people really want to see Greg Hardy again? He has had 12 matches in his career and is 7-4-1. He has lost his last two fights, getting knocked out both times. He was beaten by Marcin Tybura in December of 2020 and then was destroyed by Tai Tuivasa last July. Spivak is 13-3 in his career and he is listed as about a 2-1 favorite. Oddsmakers don’t expect this fight to last long, as the rounds are set at 1.5. If you don’t want to lay the 2-1 price on Spivak you could just take him to win by TKO, KO or submission and get -105. If you like Hardy, and it is hard to make much of a case for him, then you could simply take him at the plus price instead of getting involved with the props. If you think the fight is going to be yet another one that ends quickly for Hardy one way or the other you could take the +230 on either fighter winning by KO or TKO in Round 1. Rodriguez vs. Xiaonan Prop Picks

It is a little surprising that this fight is not on the main card. Rodriguez is ranked No. 3 in the strawweight division and you can make a case she is the top contender in the division. Xiaonan is ranked No. 4 and she is definitely right with Rodriguez in terms of talent. With these two being so evenly matched the best option is probably to simply take the rounds to go over the total. FOX Bet has the rounds listed at 2.5 with the over at -227.

Moroz vs. Agapova Prop Picks

Another interesting fight on the preliminary card is the one between Maryna Moroz and Mariya Agapova. These two have a definite dislike for one another, as Moroz said that Agapova used drugs while Agapova fiercely denied those claims. Agapova then called Moroz out after her win over Sabina Mazo. There is no question that this fight should see a lot of action and it may be more entertaining than some of the main card fights. The price on Agapova is about 2-1. If you want some value then you could take the props and get Agapova to win in Rounds 1-3 at +215. You can get that same prop on Moroz at +600. You could just bet both options and hope the fight doesn’t go to a decision.
