October 16, 2024Alabama vs. Tennessee Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
October 18, 2024Tom Kim will be looking to win the Shriners Children’s Open for the third straight year and he is the betting favorite at Caesars at odds of +1600. The Shriners Children’s Open is part of the FedExCup Fall schedule and Kim is the highest ranked player in the field at No. 25 in the world. We had a nice bounce back week with the tournament in Utah, as we went 3-1-1 with the golf betting matchups. It had been a struggle with the matchups of late, so it was nice to turn the corner. Let’s look to continue the success with this week’s Shriners Children’s Open matchup picks.
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Check out the latest Shriners Children’s Open matchup odds at Caesars.
Tournament Notes: It has been 13 years since a golfer won a tournament three straight years on the PGA Tour and it was Steve Stricker winning the John Deere Classic. The course in Vegas is relatively easy, but it may not seem like it on Thursday and Friday when the winds kick up.

Golf Matchup Picks
Davis Thompson -130 vs. Beau Hossler
Count me as stubborn, as I know that Hossler is playing well and yet I am still not sold. Thompson is also playing well, as he lost in a playoff at the Sanderson and then finished in a tie for 11th last week in Utah. He has played well in Vegas with a par of top 7 finishes in this event. I’ll go against Hossler once again in this golf betting matchup.
Taylor Pendrith -155 vs. Adam Hadwin
Pendrith hasn’t played since the Presidents Cup where he won two matches and lost three. He is having a good season including a win and a pair of top five finishes. He played well in this event a year ago finishing in a tie for 3rd. Hadwin has not finished in the Top 25 in any event since June. I know he has played pretty well in this event but right now Pendrith is the better player.
Cam Davis +100 vs. Matt McCarty
I will often go against a player who won last week, as a letdown is usually inevitable. Davis is having a good season and he has played well in this event with his best finish a tie for 7th last year. I think McCarty will have letdown this week so I’ll take Davis in this PGA betting matchup.
Harry Hall -115 vs. Ben Griffin
Hall is well known in Vegas, as he is a UNLV product who knows TPC Summerlin well. He has finished T8-T15-T26 with a scoring average of 67.25. I think he will continue his success this week, so I will take him in this golf matchup against Griffin.
Tom Hoge -110 vs. Stephan Jaeger
I think this course is perfect for Hoge who is accurate off the tee and excellent with his approach shots. He played well with a T7 at the Procore Championship and he has three top 15 finishes in this event. I know Jaeger played well in Utah last week with a second place finish, but I still think Hoge is the better player and we get a short golf betting price in this matchup.Check out the latest Shriners Children’s Open matchup odds at Caesars.
