NFL Week 8 Parlay Picks
October 23, 2024NBA Same Game Parlay – Pacers at Knicks -Oct 25
October 23, 2024World No. 2 Xander Schauffele leads the field for this week’s ZOZO Championship in Japan. We get a few of the top players in the world in the field this week so it should be entertaining. In addition to Schauffele, defending champion Collin Morikawa is set to tee it up and we’ll see Sahith Theegala, Justin Thomas and Max Homa, among others in the field. Schauffele is the betting favorite at Caesars at odds of +450. It has been a nice couple of weeks with the matchups. We went 4-1 last week with the matchups at the Shriners and we were 3-1-1 the previous week with the matchups in Utah. Let’s look to continue the success with this week’s ZOZO Championship matchup picks.
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Check out the latest ZOZO Championship matchup odds at Caesars.
Tournament Notes: The ZOZO Championship is the one tournament in the FedExCup Fall schedule that has a decent field but it still doesn’t draw a lot of top players, as it is in Japan and in late October. The course is short at 7,079 yards but the par 3’s are tough. Wind is usually the only thing that makes this course play difficult and winds are expected to be calm this week.

Golf Matchup Picks
Collin Morikawa +130 vs. Xander Schauffele
Morikawa is the defending champion and he was one of my picks to win in the odds preview. He has played well all season but simply hasn’t been able to get a win. That could have been said last year at this time when he won this event and I think he can win again this week. Schauffele has really never played that well in this event with his top finish a tie for 9th in 2022. I’ll take Morikawa at plus money in this golf matchup.
Hideki Matsuyama -165 vs. Sungjae Im
Matsuyama has played well this season with a couple of wins and he won this event in 2021. There is no reason to think he won’t play well again this week. Im did not play well at the Presidents Cup so we’ll see if he turns it around this week. He has a tie for 3rd, a tie for 29th and a tie for 12th in this event previously. I’ll take Matsuyama in this golf betting matchup.
Sahith Theegala -115 vs. Kurt Kitayama
Theegala has played well in this event with a tie for 5th and a tie for 19th. He has played well for much of this season including a third place finish in the FedExCup and he tied for 7th in the Procore. Kitayama has played okay in this event with a tie for 29th and a tie for 16th but I don’t think he is in the same class as Theegala but those are the odds in this matchup. I’ll take Theegala.
Tom Hoge -120 vs. Eric Cole
Hoge didn’t play well at the Shriners but I’ll throw that result out. He leads the PGA Tour in rounds under par and I think he will thrive on this course. He tied for 9th in this event two years ago. I’ll lay the small golf betting price and take Hoge in this matchup.
Rico Hoey -115 vs. Jhonattan Vegas
Hoey played well in Las Vegas with a tie for 3rd and he is playing well overall with four top 10 finishes in his last 10 tournaments. I think this course sets up better for Hoey than it does for Vegas. I’ll take Hoey in this PGA Tour matchup.
