October 25, 2024Notre Dame vs. Navy Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions Recap
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish dominated Navy 51-14, capitalizing on six turnovers to secure a seventh straight win over the Navy Midshipmen. My main man Jeremiyah Love led the offense with 102 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while Riley Leonard contributed with a rushing TD and two touchdown passes all the while adding another 83 yards with his legs. Notre Dame’s defense, focused on creating turnovers, took advantage as Navy struggled, losing five fumbles—a stark contrast for a team previously ranked second nationally in turnover margin. Coach Marcus Freeman praised the Irish for “complimentary football,” with turnovers leading to 28 points. Navy coach Brian Newberry acknowledged that Notre Dame was stronger in every area, noting that the game’s big stage may have rattled his team. Despite some big plays from Navy’s Blake Horvath, who rushed for 129 yards, the Midshipmen couldn’t recover from their own mistakes. Notre Dame improved to 7-1 and will likely climb the rankings, while Navy, after its worst game of the season, may drop out.
We really knocked it out of the park with this one. Though I felt Navy would go for more than seven first half points, the Irish allowed for our position on the first half over 26.5 points to cash in easily by hanging 31 of their own. We cashed the over of Love’s and Leonard’s rushing yards props in the first 30 minutes with the former galloping for a 64-yard touchdown and the latter also having a long of 24. Trailing throughout, Navy simply had no shot of passing on ND’s fifth-ranked pass D allowing us to cash an easy ticket on the under of Horvath’s passing yards prop. Closing out the successful 5-leg same game parlay was the Irish -13 on the NCAAF odds which paid out with ease. Pay me Caesars Sportsbook—Pay Me My Money!!
Notre Dame vs. Navy Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
Though college football bettors will have eyes on Bloomington to see if the Indiana Hoosiers can remain undefeated against the Washington Huskies in one of Saturday’s more notable early kicks, it will be East Rutherford that gets the national spotlight. That’s where the No. 12 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and No. 24 Navy Midshipmen will square off in MetLife Stadium for the 97th installment of the rivalry with each team ranked amongst the AP Top-25 for the first time since 2019. Notre Dame hit the board 13.5-point neutral field favorites and the total lined 45. Current NCAAF odds action reports find CFB bettors backing Navy with 56 percent of the bets and 48 percent of the money, while the over has been hammered with 75+ percent of the tickets and 80+ percent of the handle. Due to the heavy interest, currently has the Fighting Irish installed 13-point favorites and the Over/Under pushed all the way out to 50.5.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Navy Midshipmen CFB Same Game Parlay:
Since dropping a shocking 16-14 decision to Northern Illinois following the team’s huge outright win down in College Station, Marcus Freeman has his kids on the up-and-up with the sole goal of punching a ticket to the expanded College Football Playoff still very much a possibility. In order to snag it, the Fighting Irish must win out and do so convincingly considering how bad a defeat that loss to the Huskies proved to be. Set to run up against a Middies defense serving up 165 rushing yards per game (#94), I fully expect Notre Dame to be able to play well within its means of controlling game tempo by taking the air out of the ball with a deep rushing attack that’s averaged just short of 210 yards per game (#17) at 5.8 yards per carry (#7).
I forecast the trio of Riley Leonard, Jeremiyah Love, and Jadarian Price to each put forth huge showings on the ground against a Navy defense yet to run up against a ground assault as potent as the one Notre Dame will march onto the field early Saturday afternoon. With a dry track expected throughout, I don’t foresee the Midshipmen being resistant to much of anything Notre Dame throws them out of the backfield. As such, I’m eyeing the over of the listed rushing yards props for both Riley and Love at Caesars which currently clock in at 53.5 and 64.5, respectively. Love has been very quiet over the last month. Since bursting out of the gates with 91, 79, and 109 rushing yards against A&M, Northern IL, and Purdue, the sophomore’s high-water mark over the last four games clocks in at just 60 yards with him making more of an impact in the passing game. Not today! I predict him to exceed the century mark for the second time this year after doing so on only 10 carries against the Boilermakers back in Week 3.
Navy’s offensive renaissance has been unleashed against a highly questionable cast of opponents. While Blake Horvath has enjoyed the verticality injected into the new passing game approach, the kids still averaging fewer than 150 passing yards per game. I’d be shocked if he’s able to match that output against Notre Dame’s 13th ranked pass defense—an expectation backed by the fact that his passing yards prop is currently listed at 124.5. The Middies want to run the football, and they’ll continue to run their triple option attack regardless of how the scoreboard reads. I’ll tip my cap if they succeed against a defense well-versed on how to stop it having seen it each of the last three seasons. While Navy might experience some early success due to mixing in its newly-wrinkled passing game, it’ll only be a matter of time until the Irish tighten up the clamps with it marching out the best defense the Middies have seen.
The Midshipmen have been a fun story to this point of the CFB betting season, but I foresee a margin defeat incoming against a Notre Dame squad fighting tooth and nail to lock down a CFP bid. Look for its rushing attack to wear Navy down in the second half, and for the Middies gimmicky offense to feel the wrath of the best defense its run up against propelling Notre Dame to the win and cover in a game that crawls over the total with most of the game’s scoring occurring in the first 30 minutes of play.
