Oklahoma City Thunder Team Overview
This is not a great spot for the Thunder as they will be coming off a huge game on Tuesday night, as they faced Milwaukee in the final of the NBA Cup in Las Vegas. The Thunder will have had Wednesday off, but it is hard to see anything other than a letdown on Thursday after the final against Milwaukee on Tuesday. The Thunder have been and excellent team to wager on this season, so it is always risky to go against them. They were 20-5 SU and 16-7-2 ATS in their first 25 games with 11 games going over the total and 14 going under. The Thunder are averaging 115.6 points per game which is 10th in the league and they are giving up just 103.5 points per contest which is 1st in the NBA. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the team in scoring at 30.3 points per game and he leads the team in assists with 6.3 per contest. Isaiah Hartenstein leads the team with 12.3 rebounds per game.
Orlando Magic Team Overview
The Magic will have had three days off since hosting New York on Sunday. Orlando was 17-10 SU and 16-11 ATS in their first 27 games with 13 games going over the total and 14 going under. Orlando is averaging 107.7 points per game which is 25th in the league and they are giving up just 103.7 points per game which is 2nd in the NBA. Paolo Banchero leads the team with 29 points per game and he is averaging 8.8 rebounds per game, while Franz Wagner is averaging 5.7 assists per game.

Normally I would take the Thunder in this game, as they have owned the Magic in this series, but as noted earlier, this is a really bad spot for Oklahoma City. I just can’t see anything other than a letdown for the Thunder after playing such a huge game on Tuesday night in Vegas against the Bucks. What has me pausing a little bit is the overall talent level of Oklahoma City, as they are capable of turning it on at any time. I still have to back the Magic at home in this game, as they will be the more rested team and they have been a good team to bet on this season. I’ll take the Magic and also play the game under the total.
