Hawks at Cavaliers Same Game Parlay – Jan 30
January 28, 2025Indiana at Purdue Same Game Parlay Pick
January 29, 2025Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy lead a strong field for this week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. It will be the first PGA Tour event for both players this season with Scheffler listed as the betting favorite at Caesars at odds of +400. McIlroy is second in the betting odds at +1100. Golf betting favorites have not been a good bet recently, but Scheffler has been the one exception to that rule. It will be interesting to see if he can win this week coming off a minor hand injury and coming off a layoff. I will cut down the matchup picks to just a few this week, and focus on three players listed at underdog golf betting prices and I will add in one group pick. Let’s look at this week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am matchup picks and the group pick.
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Check out the latest AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am matchup odds at Caesars.
Tournament Notes: Pebble Beach Golf Links has the smallest greens on the PGA Tour, so obviously greens-in-regulation will be a key stat for this week. Putting is always important, but it is definitely not the most important statistic to look at this week.

Golf Matchup Picks
Jason Day +130 vs. Hideki Matsuyama
One thing we know about Jason Day is that he almost always does well in this tournament. He has placed inside the top seven a total of nine times. He is also playing well, as he tied for 3rd two weeks ago. I know Matsuyama played well in Hawaii, but this seems like a high price. I took Day in the odds preview and I like him here at plus money in this PGA betting matchup against Matsuyama.
Wyndham Clark +130 vs. Sam Burns
I am really surprised that Burns is a solid favorite in this matchup. Clark has played well in this event in the past, including a win last year. I don’t see any reason why Clark won’t play well again and we get him at a nice plus price in this golf betting matchup against Burns.
Nick Taylor +155 vs. Russell Henley
I am sticking to the underdog theme this week and going with Taylor in this matchup. Another player who I think can be in the mix for the win this week is Taylor and he is a big underdog against Henley. I just don’t get the price at all, as I think Taylor is as good, or better than Henley. I’ll take Taylor at the big plus price in this PGA matchup.
Top Nordic Group
This group matchup is available at Caesars and there are just three players in the group Ludvig Aberg is the favorite at -110 with Victor Hovland at +230 and Rasmus Hojgaard at +280. I think Aberg is the clear choice in this golf betting matchup. Hovland’s game is a mess right now and he is a go-against and Aberg is definitely a better player than Hojgaard. We get basically even money on Aberg and that is definitely a good price on a player who should have a good week. It was not widely reported but the reason that Aberg struggled in the last two rounds of the Farmers was due to illness. He should be back at full strength and ready for a good week and I will take him in this group matchup.Check out the latest AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am matchup odds at Caesars.
