Super Bowl LIX Odds First Look – Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs
January 29, 2025Connecticut at Marquette Same Game Parlay – Feb 1
January 30, 2025Super Bowl LIX is set for Sunday, February 9 with the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are listed as a very small favorite, as they look to win their third straight Super Bowl title. Kansas City is coming off a close win over Buffalo in the AFC Championship Game, while the Eagles are coming off a rout over Washington in the NFC Championship Game. We had the Eagles in the NFC title game, but we went with the Bills in the AFC title game and they fell one point short of covering the 3-point spread. It was a great start to the NFL Playoffs for the parlay picks, as we swept the board in the Wild Card round, hitting both NFL Playoff parlays and then in the Divisional round it was all about getting the best number for the parlay to be winners. Let’s take an early look at a couple of Super Bowl LIX parlay picks.

Super Bowl LIX Parlay
Philadelphia Eagles +1.5
Jalen Hurts anytime TD -120
I know that the Chiefs are one of the most amazing teams in NFL history and that they continue to win one-score games, but when I look at the statistics for both teams, the Eagles have the better numbers. Philadelphia is better on both sides of the ball and on paper, they should win this game. That being said, the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes and he can make all the stats meaningless. Kansas City also knows how to win close games. It is tough to make NFL history and even though the Chiefs are poised to do so, the Eagles have the team that can stop them. Philadelphia should be able to run the ball effectively and the Eagles have the defense to contain Mahomes. I’ll take the Eagles plus the points in the first half of this parlay.
In the second half of the Super Bowl LIX parlay I’ll go with Jalen Hurts to score a touchdown. The Eagles have perfected the push play and they are far better at it than the Bills. Buffalo got stopped on the push play by the Kansas City defense, but Philly is far better at it and I think Hurts will get at least one touchdown. I’ll take Hurts scoring a TD as the second half of this Super Bowl parlay.
Super Bowl LIX Parlay
Highest Scoring Half (2nd) -125
Highest Scoring Quarter (4th) +150
This parlay is all about more scoring taking place in the second half and in the fourth quarter. Normally in big games you find that teams will kind of feel each other out in the early going so the first quarter and the first half can be lower scoring. Another factor is that both teams make adjustments at the half and oftentimes teams will get their offenses untracked in the second half. When these teams met in Super Bowl LVII it was the second quarter where things really got going with 24 points being scored but even in that game, the fourth quarter had more points with 25 points being scored. I don’t think we will see nearly as many points scored this time around, as the Philadelphia defense is stout. The price on the second half being the higher scoring half seems fair at just -125 and we get +150 on the fourth quarter having the most points. That gives us some value on this two-team NFL parlay, as now we get a nice return. I’ll take the second half to be the highest scoring half and the highest scoring quarter to be the fourth for this Super Bowl LIX parlay.Bet Super Bowl LIX at Caesars.
