February 3, 2025Super Bowl LIX Quarterback Prop Picks – Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs
February 4, 2025LIV Golf opens its fourth season under the lights in Saudi Arabia for LIV Golf Riyadh, which will be contested over three days starting on Thursday, February 6. Known for its innovative take on the sport with a relaxed dress code, music blasting during rounds and a team competition held in conjunction with the individual portion LIV amped things up for the season opener. All three rounds will be played at night at Riyadh Golf Club in the country’s capital. LIV played the previous three years in Saudi Arabia near Jeddah with Joaquin Niemann emerging victorious last year at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club and Brooks Koepka winning the first two tournaments. Both players are near the top of the golf odds board but behind co-favorites Tyrrell Hatton and Jon Rahm, who both opened at +700 at Caesars sportsbook.
Venue: Opened in 2005 Riyadh Golf Club is one of the country’s best courses. Stretched out to more than 7,400 yards at par 72 the venue has hosted numerous professional tournaments, including the PIF Saudi International. Two holes standout with the second a lengthy par 5 that once measured over 700 yards. It has been shortened to around 680 yards. And the par-3 17th is only about 166 yards but the elevated island green makes it more difficult. A state of the art lighting system allow for night golf with the rounds expected to finish around midnight local time.
Last Year: This is a new event on the circuit though Saudi Arabia has been a destination in each of the first three LIV seasons. Joaquin Niemann won LIV Golf Jeddah last year and Brooks Koepka won the first two tournaments.

Favorites
Tyrrell Hatton & Jon Rahm +700
Rahm had a productive first season in LIV finishing among the top 10 in all 12 events he completed. He was the betting favorite in every tournament and broke through with his first LIV win last summer in the UK. Rahm also won in Chicago two starts later and was runner-up at Greenbrier in between. Hatton closed 2024 with a flurry and was equally impressive to start 2025. He had four straight top 10s on the DP World Tour with a win at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and just last month won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
Value Picks
Brooks Koepka +1600
With eight of 13 individual titles last year going to players with odds of 20/1 or shorter venturing down the odds board comes with serious risk. I’m not doing it here and instead backing the player with the most career LIV victories. Two of his five titles took place is Saudi Arabia and Koepka should be healed from the minor injury that bothered him towards the end of last season.
Abraham Ancer +2500
Ancer has experienced of success at the host venue winning the PIF Saudi International in Riyadh two years ago and securing a T22 in the same tournament in 2024. Ancer also collected a T11 and T12 in his last two LIV starts in Saudi Arabia. He had a solid last season winning in Hong Kong and finishing among the top 15 six other times.
Louis Oosthuizen +2500
A 10-time winner on the DP World Tour it only seems like a matter of time before Oosthuizen claims his first LIV title. He got as close as you could last year with a pair of runner-up showings, including at Royal Greens, which were two of his seven top 10s on the circuit.
Dustin Johnson +5000
A disastrous close to 2024 not only affected Johnson’s psyche it also played havoc with his golf betting odds. Routinely among the top favorites in years past, DJ has taken a hit. I’m not sure this is the time to back him, but he’s still a talent that can rise up at any moment. Since winning in Las Vegas last February he has only one top 10 and is coming off a MC at the PIF Saudi International. With such long odds maybe this is the time to throw down on him.
