Brooks Koepka is getting a lot of respect in LIV odds, as he is listed as the favorite to win this week’s LIV Golf Adelaide event in Australia. Koepka won the last LIV event in Orlando and he had a chance to win The Masters before faltering down the stretch. Koepka is the only player in LIV to have won two events, as he also won an event last season. He joins Charles Howell and Danny Lee as winners on the LIV Tour this season. There will be a total of 48 players in the LIV Golf Adelaide event which takes place at The Grange Golf Club in Grange, South Australia. Let’s look at LIV Golf Adelaide picks.

Favorite
Brooks Koepka 10-1
We know that golf betting favorites don’t win enough to be profitable and this week we have the added factor of Koepka coming off a win in the last LIV event. He did play The Masters, so this is not a true go-against in terms of winning the last event, but I still can’t see anything other than some sort of letdown for Koepka. And despite what he has done of late, I still don’t think he is the best golfer in the field. I will go against the golf betting favorite again this week.
Value Picks
Cameron Smith 11-1
You can almost put Smith in the category of co-favorite. Normally I wouldn’t take him, but I can’t resist this time around with Smith playing in his home country in front of his fans. He is still the best golfer in this field and I expect him to make a big run at the title.
Patrick Reed 16-1
Reed has picked up his play of late with a tie for 3rd in Orlando and then a tie for fourth in The Masters. It definitely looks like Reed is getting close to winning his first LIV Golf title and it just might be this week.
Abraham Ancer 20-1
Ancer has not lived up to his reputation so far in LIV, but we know he likes playing in Australia, as he won the Aussie Open in 2018. This should be a course that is suited to his game and I think it is time for Ancer to start showing people he is still a very good golfer and this week we get some decent odds on him of 20-1.
Peter Uihlein 22-1
Did you know that Uihlein is 2nd in points on the LIV Tour behind Charles Howell? Uilhein already has three finishes in the top 10 this season and he finished really well in Orlando. I think he could be in contention this week and we get odds of 22-1.
Marc Leishman 28-1
We have not yet seen the best of Leishman on the LIV Tour but this could be the week. Leishman knows how to win and I expect him to play really well this week in a place where he feels very comfortable. I would have liked to be getting 50-1 or more, but oddsmakers are aware that Leishman is not without a chance to win this week.
