June 22, 2023MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Saturday, June 24
June 23, 2023Last Friday’s MLB Same Game Parlays ended up 0-2 over at PointsBet Sportsbook after splitting each and the SGP in Arizona scratched due to Triston McKenzie hitting the IL. The Reds cashed in as midsized road dogs in Houston, but only got to J.P. France in the seventh which allowed him to exceed his pitching outs prop. Shane McClanahan was simply just too good in his matchup with Yu, but he issued three free passes which surpassed his walks prop. You cashed in if you bet everything individually. Here’s to kicking the weekend off right with some winning parlay picks – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

Seattle Mariners vs. Baltimore Orioles
It’s going to be hot, sticky, and rainy in Baltimore through the weekend when the Mariners and Orioles partake in a weekend set that could have enormous playoff ramifications come the end of the baseball betting season. While the Mariners have grossly failed to live up to expectations from an offensive standpoint with Julio Rodriguez and co. ranking out in the bottom third of the league in the most pertinent of stat categories, I think they can hang a crooked number on Kyle Gibson and his weak arsenal. The righty doesn’t have overpowering stuff evidenced by ranking No. 98 in fastball velocity all the while garnering a 10.4 swinging strike percentage (No. 139) per Pitcher List. He either shines or gets lit up. There hasn’t been an in between. I think it’ll be the latter tonight with the M’s current sticks batting .373 against him with a .899 OPS. Logan Gilbert has been tough to figure out this season. His BAbip and exit velocity are the lowest of his career and his GB/FB ratio is the highest. The issue has been getting hit hard (No. 111) while failing to register called or swinging strikes recently. It could all just start working for him at the drop of a hat, but I’ll bet against that occurring against an Orioles offense that could be getting Ced Mullins back in the lead-off spot for this one.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Colorado Rockies
Like the Guardians, White Sox, and Phillies, the Angels have been nothing if not poisonous for my bankroll this MLB betting season. That being said, there’s no way I can stop myself from jumping back into the Halos pool for the opener of this three-game set with the Rockies knowing they’ll get the pleasure of stepping into the box to oppose a slumping Kyle Freeland and then get the benefit of running up against Colorado’s wretched bullpen once he departs early. The Rox lefty has logged one quality start in his last six trips to the bump, and enters start No. 16 the owner of a 5.51 ERA through three June starts. On the flipside, Patrick Sandoval showed some promise last time out in hurling seven innings of shutout ball at the Royals, and he’s been at his best on the road where his ERA clocks in at 3.79 with the opposition batting a paltry .215 against him. I get its Coors, but I firmly expect Trout and Ohtani to give him more than enough separation on the scoreboard to put him in a position to log win No. 5 and cover the run-line in the process.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants
This will be an extremely tough spot for the Snakes who will be forced to fly across the country after making that game up in Washington to take on the smoking white hot Giants. In case you live under a rock, San Fran has rattled off nine straight wins to get right back into the thick of the NL West pennant chase. It’ll likely be going all-out to make up even more ground throughout this series with it currently looking up at Arizona in the standings sitting 2.5-games out. It’s highly conceivable they sit in the catbird seat come Monday, and Logan Webb will do his best to make that a reality in the opener when he takes the bump for the 16th time looking to claw over the breakeven point for the year. While June has been a bit rough to the ratios with the righty serving up three or more earned runs in three of four starts, I expect him to get the best of a fatigued D’backs batting lineup whom he already held to just three hits and 1 ER through seven innings in a tough-luck loss in the desert back on May 14. Opposing him will be the gas can otherwise known as Zach Davies whose been ripped for 27 hits and 17 ER through four June starts.
