Cameron Smith +700
If you have followed golf for any length of time and followed my picks you will know that golf betting favorites don’t win that often and they definitely don’t win often enough to be profitable. Maybe Smith wins this week, but I am not taking him at odds this low.
Value Picks
Bryson DeChambeau +900
It is all about driving distance this week and DeChambeau ranks 4th on the LIV Tour in driving distance. He has really played well the last few months and he played well at this event a year ago. It would be nicer if we got DeChambeau at double-digit odds, but I can’t ignore the way he has been playing of late and his distance off the tee.
Dustin Johnson +1200
Johnson still hits the ball a long way, as he ranks 3rd in driving distance on the tour. He has seven top 15 finishes this season and he should be in the mix this week and we get DJ at double-digit odds.
Dean Burmester +2000
I sure was hoping for better odds than 20-1 on Burmester but the oddsmakers know the same thing that I know and that is Burmester hits the ball a long way. He is 2nd on the LIV Golf Tour in driving distance this season. He could definitely be in the mix on Sunday and we get decent odds.
Jason Kokrak +3500
Kokrak went and finished in a tie for 4th in an Asian Tour International Series event at the end of August. He has gained strokes in four of his last five events overall and we know he can hit the ball a ton. I think there is some value on Kokrak at these odds.
Peter Uihlein +6500
I don’t get the odds on Uihlein being this high. He was rolling early in the season and then fell off. He has had a month off to get ready and he leads the LIV Golf Tour in driving distance. I think he can win this week and we get 65-1 odds.
