How to Play Bet the Set 21
November 15, 2023American Roulette – First Person
November 15, 2023The FedExCup Fall Schedule wraps up this week with The RSM Classic in Georgia. It is the last chance for players on the bubble to make it into the Top 125 in the standings to gain eligibility to play on next year’s PGA Tour. Ludvig Aberg is listed as the favorite in golf betting odds, as he is listed at +1200 at Caesars. Russell Henley is listed as the second choice in the golf odds at +1400. I went 4-2 with the matchups last week at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Let’s look at The RSM Classic matchup picks.

Golf Picks
Ludvig Aberg -130 vs. Cameron Young
It is hard not to like Aberg, as he is a rising young star in golf. He has six straight top 15 finishes around the world including a win in Europe. Young has distance off the tee but this course really doesn’t favor long hitters. I’ll lay the small price and take Aberg in this matchup.
Akshay Bhatia -120 vs. Adam Schenk
When the wind blows Bhatia does well and we know that the wind is likely to blow on Thursday. Bhatia has played well in each of his last three tournaments with a T21, a T10 and a T20. I see no reason he won’t play well again this week so I will take him in this matchup against Schenk.
Taylor Pendrith -120 vs. Alex Smalley
Pendrith played well last year with a tie for 15th in this event. Pendrith has been in good form of late with a T3-T15-T8. I think he will play well again this week, so I will take him in this matchup against Smalley.
Adam Svensson -110 vs. Stephan Jaeger
The defending champ comes in playing well with five top 25 finishes of late. He obviously likes this course and should play well again. Jaeger has missed the cut in two of his last three appearances in this tournament. I’ll take Svensson in this matchup.
Ben Griffin -145 vs. Taylor Montgomery
Griffin has played well in the past on Bermuda greens and he started well last year with a 66. He is very familiar with this course, as he lives in the area. He said his goal was to get into the Top 60 in the world and to focus on winning so he gets a spot in the Masters. I will take him in this matchup against Montgomery.
Brendon Todd -160 vs. Luke List
This is another matchup where I am going against the big hitter. List has definitely played well this year, but this course really doesn’t suit his game. List is all about distance off the tee and this course is not one that favors distance. Todd has played well in this event with a fourth place finish in the past and he comes in playing well. I know the price is a bit high, but I will still take Todd in this matchup.
