Week 13 NFL Player Prop Best Bets
December 1, 2023Thursday Night NFL Betting Odds & Lines Parlay – Patriots at Steelers
December 4, 2023So the Los Angeles Chargers defense shows up and the team still fails to win at home. On top of that, they handed their wagering supporters another soul-crushing defeat after allowing Zay Flowers to sprint into the end zone from 37-yards out when all Baltimore needed to do was take knees and put a wrap on the 13-10 win and non-cover. But no, that’s not how the football gods mapped it out – No Soup For You!! I can only sit back and laugh as I warned of a soul crushing loss like that for anyone taking those points. I was correct in targeting Baltimore’s rookie wide receiver to have a big game. Unfortunately, he still failed to post the receiving yardage needed to get us back to the window. Austin Ekeler also went MIA getting outgained on the ground by Justin Herbert. Woe is me! Let’s see if we can’t crank out a winning Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay at Caesars Sportsbook with the Chiefs set to square off against the Packers on the Frozen Tundra – SLAM YOUR MAN!!

A big one is set to go down in Lambeau under the lights of Sunday Night Football with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs out to snag a second straight road win against the up-and-coming Jordan Love and a Green Bay Packers team making a late dash for the playoffs. Matt LaFleur’s troops shocked the NFL betting community last week by going into Motown and shocking the Detroit Lions on Turkey Day. Because of it, the betting line has moved in the direction of the home team with it down to +6 from the initial 7-point opener. The total has however moved in the opposite direction from 41.5 to 42 which comes off as a bit shocking considering how big a moneymaker prime time unders have proven to be this NFL betting season. If you can believe it, the low side of the O/U has cashed in at an insane 76 percent clip!
Not for one second do I think Kansas City wants to get in a shootout with the Green and Gold. Not with pass defense (No. 9) the strength of what’s been an otherwise charitable Packers run D that’s allowed opposing backfields to rip them for 135+ yards per game (No. 27) and 4.4 yards per carry (No. 23). Making this an even juicier spot for Isiah Pacheco is the fact that the Cheeseheads have conceded a healthy 5.4 yards per carry over the last three weeks even with the defense putting forth three of its better efforts against the Steelers, Chargers, and Lions – three teams with some rock-solid backfields! The Chiefs RB1 had a big showing for his fantasy supporters last week against an improved Raiders run D by going for 55 yards and a pair of saunters into the end zone. Green Bay has served up at least 1.0 touchdown in its last three games and is likely to allow No. 10 to hit pay dirt at least once Sunday night as well.
Though pass defense has been the main strength of Steve Spagnuolo’s defense with it allowing fewer than 177 yards per game (No. 4) and just 5.6 yards per pass attempt (No. 3), I’m still attacking it with the recently surging Jayden Reed. The Packers rookie wide receiver looks to have built quite the rapport with Love that’s seen him score a touchdown each of the last three weeks and exceed his receiving yards prop twice during that stretch. He’s the WR8 in fantasy circles dating back to Week 10, and while his 11.3 ADOT pales in comparison to teammate Christian Watson (16.4), he’s proven to be Love’s favorite target evidenced by his team-high 23 percent targets per route run. The cherry on top of targeting the former MSU Spartan is the fact that the Chiefs have made live a living hell for pass catchers lined up out wide (No. 7), but had a much rougher go of it defending the slot (No. 17). Reed runs 76+ percent of his routes from the slot which means it’s go time for No. 11!
I expect this to be a very competitive game right from the opening kick all the way down to the final gun. As such, I’m taking the points at Caesars Sportsbook with the home team and wouldn’t come out the least bit shocked if the Cheeseheads found a way to win a third straight and leapfrog the Seahawks into the NFC playoff picture. Reed will play a huge role in that feat getting pulled off, but not before Pacheco takes care of his player prop and fantasy supporters first.
Green Bay Packers +6
Isiah Pacheco 75+ Rushing Yards | Anytime Touchdown
Jayden Reed 50+ Receiving Yards | Anytime Touchdown
