Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay – Ravens at 49ers

NBA with three games on the schedule. However, there is only one Monday Night Football contest on the Week 16 slate and it’s a doozy with the Baltimore Ravens visiting the San Francisco 49ers. With each club owning a record of 11-3, fans are gifted a rare late season matchup between the two top teams and Super Bowl betting favorites. Hopefully we get a game as advertised rather than a lump of coal. Going against other top teams in what most would consider a marquee matchup, the Niners outclassed their opponents. When the NFL football lines were posted coach John Harbaugh and a number of Baltimore players were surprised the number was as high as it was. For just the second time this season the Ravens are catching points. They beat Cincinnati, 27-24, in Week 2 as 3-point dog on the closing NFL betting line.

“We feel a little disrespected by that. I feel like we are the best team in the league and we have an opportunity in front of the country to show it,” Baltimore S Kyle Hamilton said. The Ravens won three of their last five games when playing as an underdog while going 4-1 against the NFL spread. There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance and I don’t think the Ravens crossed it. With added motivation I’ll back them and the points.

The teams don’t give up much defensively and they’re excellent running the football. That leads me to believe a lot of clock will burn off between running plays, and as long as the chunk plays are held to minimum I can see this game going below the total of 47 at BetRivers sportsbook. Behind Lamar Jackson the Ravens lead the NFL averaging nearly 164 rushing yards while the Niners are third. And if Jackson wants to throw the football he’ll have to contend with a Niners pass rush that’s totaled 43 sacks. LJ will use his legs to avoid difficult situations helping him to OVER his rushing yard total of 59.5.

My fourth NFL wager on my same-game parlay has to do with the Niners offense. With so many playmakers all Brock Purdy has to do is get the ball in their hands. He’s been spectacular doing that boasting the highest QB rating. However, he struggled against strong defenses in Cleveland and Minnesota and the Ravens can rattle him with a pass rush that leads the NFL with 50 sacks. Purdy will have a hard time reaching his passing yards total of 247.5 making the UNDER a NFL best bet.
