CFP Championship Picks – Washington vs. Michigan
January 4, 2024Saturday, January 6 College Basketball Parlay
January 5, 2024Due to the Green Bay Packers running away with the 33-10 win and cover against the Minnesota Vikings, my Sunday Night Football same game parlay went up in smoke. With Jordan Love and the passing game excelling as expected, neither of my prop positions on Ty Chandler had a chance of coming in with Minnesota forced to abandon the run so quickly. Because of it, we took another fat L at Caesars Sportsbook with Love exceeding expectations and Chandler falling short. Here’s to coming through in the final Sunday night telecast of the NFL betting regular season when the Dolphins host the Bills in a game that holds major playoff ramifications – SLAM YOUR MAN!!
Bet on the National Football League at Caesars Sportsbook
The Dolphins initially hit the board 1.5-point favorites to topple the Bills in tonight’s crucial AFC East clash with the victor going on to take home bragging rights and guarantee themselves two home playoff games should either reach that point of the second season. The NFL betting market has since pounced upon the visiting Bills turning them into 3-point favorites by way of Buffalo taking in 60 percent of the bets and 73 percent of the money per midweek wagering reports from Caesars Sportsbook. I get that Miami will be without some key cogs and that it’s come up short each of the last three times it ran up against its division rival, but you’re crazy if you think I’m buying into Buffalo coming through in a spot like this – Don’t NFL bettors know this franchise is cursed! Though the under has taken in 56 percent of the action and a whopping 71 percent of the bets, the O/U has fattened up a full point from the opener to sit 49.5 at the time of this writing. I’ll take the extra gravy and hit the low side of that impost thank you very much.
Anyone take in the Bills home tilt against the Patriots last week? Sean McDermott is lucky “The Hoodie” didn’t get the best of him as bad Buffalo played for the entirety of that match. The 27-21 triumph constitutes one of the more misleading final scores of the NFL betting season. Check it out for yourself if you don’t believe me. Even with all the injuries on both sides of the ball, I believe Miami to be the better of the two teams heading into this pivotal matchup. They also get the benefit of playing in front of the hometown faithful where the team stands 8-1 SU and 7-2 versus the closing NFL odds with it a fluke loss to the Tennessee Titans away from coming in unblemished. Though Lamar Jackson ripped Vic Fangio’s defense a new one last week, I have little faith in Josh Allen and Co. being able to mimic that feat even though they already piled up 414 yards and put 48 points on the board in the first meeting back in Week 4. Buffalo is a much different team now than they were then and Miami knows exactly how much easier its path to Super Bowl LVIII would be if this game was won. Same goes for the Bills, but the team is cursed and will not come out on top of this matchup much to the joy and elation of linemakers who’ve already booked a ton of Buffalo handle.
I get that Tyreek Hill is 250+ yards from setting the single-season yardage record, but I’m still expecting points to be held to a minimum in the regular season finale. Way too much is riding on this game for either offense to throw caution to the wind and let it fly. That leads me to believe each attack will keep it close to the vest and attempt to put forth time consuming drives that keep the ball out of the opposing QB1’s hands as much as possible. I’m still going over Tyreek’s alt receiving yards prop at Caesars because why not, but will also look to the low side of the full game total with the expectation that Tyler Bass and Jason Sanders earn their paychecks in a big way. In the end, Miami finds a way to protect its house in a low scorer and the Bills take the playoffs in from the comforts of their own couch after getting zero help from their AFC counterparts earlier in the day. I’m not kidding about the BillsMafia being cursed!
