January 25, 2024If you haven’t been following this column each week then you have been missing out, as the college basketball plays have been red-hot. A full slate of college basketball action is set for Saturday, January 27 including some interesting matchups, including No. 7 Kansas at No. 23 Iowa State on CBS. Another matchup between Top 25 teams has No. 20 Texas Tech visiting No. 11 Oklahoma on ESPN+. We are coming off hitting a three-team parlay last week that finally broke our streak of going 2-1 every week. None of the games were in doubt, as Gonzaga, Appalachian State and Weber State all won going away. It still might not be a bad idea to simply play all three games each week, in addition to the parlay, because we are a sizzling 14-4 over the last 18 plays. Let’s look at a three-team parlay for Saturday, January 27.

Saturday, January 27 College Basketball Parlay
Creighton minus the points vs. DePaul
The Blue Jays will be big favorites at home on Saturday against DePaul and why not? Creighton is 15-5 on the season and 10-10 ATS. They routed the Blue Demons at DePaul earlier this season and I see no reason why this game will be competitive on Saturday. I’ll lay the points and take Creighton.
Gonzaga minus the points at Pacific
The Bulldogs came through for us last week in a similar spot so I will back them again. I said last week that Gonzaga has to start making an impression by winning big because the Bulldogs are not a lock to make the NCAA Tourney. Pacific has been awful this season, as they started this week at 6-14 SU and 3-15 ATS. I’ll lay the points and take Gonzaga.
San Francisco minus the points at Portland
We’ll stay in the West Coast Conference for the last pick in the college basketball parlay. The Dons are coming off a game at Gonzaga on Thursday so there is always the risk of a letdown, but Portland entered this week at 7-13 SU and they were blown out at San Francisco earlier this season. I’ll lay the points and take the Dons.
