MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Wednesday, April 3
April 2, 2024Valero Texas Open Matchup Picks
April 3, 2024The Masters is up next week and there are some LIV golfers who will be making the trip, including defending champion Jon Rahm. There are not many opportunities to see LIV and PGA Tour players in the same tournament, but next week’s Masters will be one of those changes. Rahm is listed as the favorite to win this week’s LIV Golf Miami event. Rahm has gotten a ton of publicity since moving to the LIV Golf Tour, but he has yet to get a win. He has played well, as he is the only player to finish in the top 10 in each of the first four LIV events this season, but Rahm is winless. He is listed as the top betting choice this week, with odds of +500 at Caesars. We are off to a good start this season in the LIV with wins in two of the first four LIV Golf tournaments. Joaquin Niemann has won two of the first four LIV tournaments and he is the second choice in the betting odds at +650. Bryson DeChambeau is the third choice at odds of +1000, while Dustin Johnson is fourth with odds of +1200.

Jon Rahm +500
I sound like a broke record with golf betting favorites losing, but it happens almost every week on both the LIV Golf Tour and the PGA Tour. Scottie Scheffler has at least won a couple of times as the favorite in PGA Tour events. Rahm has failed to win as the betting favorite in each of his first four LIV events. Maybe this is the week he finally gets his win, but I can’t back him at odds this low.
Golf Picks
Bryson DeChambeau +1000
Doral is long and we know that DeChambeau can hit the ball a ton. He has played well this season and his Crushers team is rolling. I think DeChambeau can be in the mix this week and we get 10-1.
Dustin Johnson +1200
We know that Johnson likes Doral, as he won on this course in 2015 and he also had a 2nd place finish in 2011. He also has a top five and two top 15 finishes on this course. He won earlier this season in Las Vegas and he continues to play well each week. He is definitely a contender to win on this course and we get double-digit odds.
Paul Casey +2800
Count me in with the number of people who are surprised that Casey has yet to win in LIV Golf. He is finally starting to play better, as he tied for 11th at Mayakoba, tied for 5th in Las Vegas and lost in a playoff to Abraham Ancer in Hong Kong. He finished sixth in Singapore on the DP World Tour. He has five top 20 finishes at Doral in this career.
Patrick Reed +4000
Another surprise to me is that Reed has not yet won on the LIV Tour. He has won in the past at Doral and he has been playing better on the Asian Tour of late with three top 15 finishes, including a fourth in Macau. I’ll take a flyer on Reed at big odds.
