UFL Betting – Week 3 Parlay Picks

You can’t win them all and my season-opening United Football League parlay win was quickly forgotten after failing on two of three picks in Week 2 action. On to Week 3 we go with still several unknowns around the league making games difficult to handicap, but you can trust the Birmingham Stallions will be in most of their games and winning a high percentage of them. The two-time USFL champ improved to 2-0 with a 20-13 win over Michigan, covering the UFL betting line for a second straight and giving me my only winning pick. 

For the second straight week the Stallions are the biggest favorite on the opening UFL line at Caesars sportsbook laying 7-points to the Memphis Showboats, who suffered a tough 20-19 loss to San Antonio last week. After winning three games all of last season in the XFL, the Brahmas are the only other undefeated squad after two weeks and lost for the first time as a UFL pick against the spread failing to cover the 3.5-point line. San Antonio hosts the St. Louis Battlehawks on Sunday as a slight 1-point underdog on UFL odds at Caesars sportsbook.

Week 3 UFL Parlay Picks

You really have to go into playing UFL parlays with an open mind knowing that you’re going to lose more times than you win. The good thing, though, is that the payout in UFL picks and parlay wins is substantial and can bankroll several weeks of losses. However, the plan is never to lose so I’ll look to regroup much like the Houston Roughnecks and Arlington Renegades, who both started with consecutive setbacks. They say football is a game of inches and betting on them is a matter of a few points. Birmingham won by seven as a 6-point favorite giving me a win. I also backed UNDER 40.5 in the DC-Houston game with the teams combining for 41 points. You see, there is no difference between UFL betting and other sports.

Bet $100 to Win $600 On This UFL Parlay at Caesars sportsbook 

San Antonio is undefeated but you have to admit they could easily have zero victories. No team has been able to win in unconventional ways as the Brahmas, who used a trick pass-play from their punter to beat DC. Last week they took advantage of the rule that allows the losing team to convert a 4th-and-12 to retain possession. The Brahmas were successful leading to 12 points in the final minute for the win. Hand it to them for making plays but things tend to even out. And with A.J. McCarron taking over for St. Louis, the Battlehawks beat Arlington, 27-24, on a walk-off field goal. McCarron threw for 248 yards in the win and I trust he can pick apart San Antonio’s secondary to cover the 1-point on the UFL betting line.

Memphis can go one of two ways after last week’s collapse. The Showboats can regroup after blowing a 19-point lead or they can crater. Welp, it’s too early in the season for the latter so I’m going to count on the former in the matchup with Birmingham. It was a good show by Memphis for three quarters shutting out the Brahmas. It wasn’t enough, though, with red zone issues proving fatal. “You’re not gonna win a lot of games when you’re 1 for 6 in the red zone. We’ve got to get that fixed,” coach John DeFilippo said. Both Memphis games have been close leading me to back the points in this matchup.

Neither team has done much offensively this season so it’s no surprise the UFL odds total for the game between Houston and the Michigan Panthers is the lowest on the Week 3 UFL betting board. The teams average less than 16 points while producing fewer than 245 yards per game. What makes the UNDER a good wager is that both clubs are solid defensively making it more difficult for the offense to bust loose.
