Brian and Bruce begin their Week 2 analysis with the Sunday action, starting with the game between Tennessee and Indianapolis. Brian likes the total in this one, while Bruce has a side pick.

The Chargers visit the Lions with the Chargers listed as road favorites. Bruce thinks Detroit is in trouble this season and he likes Los Angeles in this contest. Bruce has an amazing statistic that you will want to hear that applies to this game.

The game between the Bills and Giants has a small pointspread and Brian is optimistic that Buffalo will build on last week’s win, while Bruce thinks the New York pass rush is the key in this one.

The two biggest pointspreads of the week have Arizona visiting Baltimore, while New England is at Miami. The public is all over the Ravens and Patriots, so the question is whether the Cardinals and Dolphins have value. Brian cautions everyone that Week 1 results can oftentimes be overblown, while Bruce is worried about the backdoor cover.

The Cowboys and Redskins rivalry matchup has seen some action on the Redskins, as the line is down to Dallas -4.5. Brian and Bruce are both on board with the Redskins and neither of them would be shocked if Washington won this game outright.

The Texans are expected to bounce back from last week’s heart breaking loss to New Orleans and they are nearly double-digit favorites. The Jaguars look like they could be in for a long season, as starting quarterback Nick Foles is out. Bruce leans to Houston, but he said it is not one of his favorite picks of the week.

One of the top situational plays of the week is on the game between Seattle and Pittsburgh. It is a huge game for the Steelers, as they are coming off a bad loss a week ago to the Patriots. Listen to the Week 2 NFL podcast to find out who Brian and Bruce like.

Brian doesn’t want anything to do with the game between the 49ers and Bengals, while Bruce thinks the San Francisco defense could be the difference in this one.

The rivalry game between the Vikings and Packers is expected to be an excellent matchup and Brian and Bruce have a play on the total in this one.

The Chiefs are laying 7.5-points at the Raiders in a matchup of teams that won last week. Bruce said he is not yet buying Oakland this season and he expects a big win for Kansas City on Sunday.

The marquee matchup in the NFL in Week 2 is an NFC Championship game rematch, as the New Orleans Saints visit the Los Angeles Rams. The Saints will want revenge for what happened last season, but this time the game is in Los Angeles. Both Brian and Bruce think the revenge angle is overrated, but Bruce still likes New Orleans in this one.

The Bears and Broncos game could be a defensive battle, as neither offense looked good last week. Bruce points out that the schedule favors Chicago with the extra rest, but he is worried about quarterback Mitch Trubisky. Bruce points out some big trends on the total in this one.

The Sunday night game on NBC has the Eagles visiting the Falcons. The Eagles put forth one of the more schizophrenic efforts of Week 1, as they were awful early and great late in a win over the Redskins. On the other side, the Falcons were really bad in a loss to Minnesota. Brian thinks the line on this game is off, while Bruce believes this game will decide the future for the Falcons this season. Check out the Week 2 NFL podcast to get Brian and Bruce’s picks on this one.

Two teams that will be chomping at the bit are the Browns and Jets who both lost in Week 1. Freddie Kitchens’ team failed to live up to all the offseason hype in a big way last week when they got routed by Tennessee, while the Jets gave away a game against the Bills. New York will not have quarterback Sam Darnold who has mono, so it will be Trevor Siemian getting the start for the Jets. The odds on this game have moved toward Cleveland, as they are now a 6.5-point favorite.
