Brian and Jack begin this week by considering the Thursday night game between the Titans and Jaguars. Brian thinks that points could be tough to come by in this one and the early line movement has been toward the under.

Brian and Jack think there is a good chance that the number on the Lions and Eagles goes down from the current number of seven.

Brian agrees with the line move on the total between the Ravens and Chiefs, as bettors have been pounding the over. The number opened at 51.5 and is up to 55. Jack believes the number on the Chiefs will continue to go up and likely close at 7.

Jack also sees continued line movement on the game between the Bengals and Bills. Bettors are already betting Buffalo, as the line is up to 5.5 and Jack sees it going to 6.

Jack likes the Falcons in their game against the Colts and he expects the number on the game to fall back to 2.5. He also believes the number on the Raiders and Vikings will come back to the opener of 7.

The Patriots rolled in their first two games and they are a big home favorite against the Jets in Week 3, but the biggest favorite of the week is Dallas. The Cowboys line has been adjusted up from the opener and it would not be a surprise to see it go past 21. Jack asks the question of whether or not the Dolphins will win a game this season. Listen to this week’s NFL podcast to get Brian and Jack’s thoughts.

Bettors are taking the Bucs at home against the Giants. The question this week is whether or not Daniel Jones will take over for Eli Manning this week. Jack’s concern with the Giants is a defense that has looked very poor in the first two weeks.

One game this week that the oddsmakers will be worried about is the one between Carolina and Arizona. It is never a good thing if a game lands three and books run the risk of getting middled, but it could happen in this one, as the Panthers opened 3.5 and the number is down to 2.5. Jack thinks the Cardinals are the way to go in this one.

The Saints will not have starting quarterback Drew Brees in this one, as he is out for at least the next six weeks. Teddy Bridgewater will be getting the start for New Orleans on the road in Seattle. Jack said the Saints would have been a one-point favorite if Brees had played, but now he expected the Seahawks to be laying six.

Brian believes the line on the game between the Texans and Chargers is off. The Chargers are laying 3.5 points and Brian thinks the Texans are the play, while Jack is not so sure.

The Steelers will not have Ben Roethlisberger who is out for the season, so it will be Mason Rudolph getting the start for Pittsburgh at San Francisco. The 49ers are expected to be listed as home favorites in this one.

The Sunday Night Football game on NBC has the Rams visiting the Browns, with the Rams slight road favorites, while the Monday Night Football game has the Bears visiting the Redskins, with the Bears listed as road favorites.
