The BMW PGA Championship is one of the premier events on the European Tour and it has a strong field this year. Rory McIlroy is the favorite and he is joined by Jon Rahm, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry and defending champion Francesco Molinari. Some American players have also decided to play including Tony Finau, Patrick Reed and Billy Horschel. This event is also the first one that counts towards the 2020 Ryder Cup.

The event is held on Wentworth’s West Course and is listed as a par 72 that measures 7,284 yards. It is tree lined and accuracy definitely helps and it can be won by players who are short-hitters. Hitting greens in regulation is what it is all about, as 8 of the last 10 winners of this event ranked in the Top 12 for GIR.

Cam is looking at a couple of golfers that are outside the power few. Hitting a price is definitely possible on the European Tour this week because of the star power at the top of this event. Cam also has a bomber to take a look at that you can find at a price of about 100-1.

Brian and Cam are both on the same golfer as their top pick this week and he is listed at +2800. Listen to this week’s golf podcast to get their pick.

Brian and Cam also discuss betting golf tournaments in live betting. There can be excellent value in live golf betting and the guys give some tips on betting during the tournament.
