Early in the fourth quarter, he made back-to-back 3-pointers to put the Warriors ahead by 30. A few minutes later, when both coaches cleared their benches, he departed the game. Joel Embiid scored 28 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead the Sixers. Embiid played through a left foot strain after missing Wednesday’s defeat to the Kings. Despite having their “Big Three”—Paul George, Tyrese Maxey, and Embiid—on the court, Philadelphia has lost two straight games after winning four in a row.

Philadelphia has simply been a rotten team whenever Embiid doesn’t play and they look like a playoff team and a serious contender whenever Embiid is in the lineup. The Warriors haven’t been that great against the spread this season but they have definitely done well in this series and there is no question they have done well at home against the 76ers.
