MLB Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions – Thursday, August 22
August 20, 2024NFL Preseason Week 3 Parlay Picks
August 21, 2024The top 50 players in the FedExCup standings are in Colorado this week for the BMW Championship which is the second of three tournaments in the FedExCup Playoffs. The top 30 players after this weekend will advance to next week’s TOUR Championship with the top player in the standings starting with a two-shot lead. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will be in that spot unless World No. 2 Xander Schauffele wins this week. Scheffler and Schauffele are the top two betting choices at Caesars. It is been all or nothing lately with the matchup picks, as I was on a great run for about a month and now it has been ugly for the past two weeks. I am going to look to turn it around in a big way this week and do so with plus money on many of the matchups. Let’s look at BMW Championship matchup picks.
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Check out the latest BMW Championship matchup odds at Caesars.
Tournament Notes: Castle Pines will be interesting, as it is the longest course in PGA Tour history at more than 8,000 yards, but because of the altitude it is really going to play more like 7,300 yards and that is about average on the PGA Tour. The course used to play host to a PGA Tour event but that was many years ago and Castle Pines is much different now than it was then. There is no cut again this week with the top 30 players in the FedExCup standings after this week advancing to next week’s TOUR Championship.

Golf Matchup Picks
Tony Finau +110 vs. Tommy Fleetwood
I think Fleetwood is eventually going to win on the PGA Tour and I thought he had some value in terms of overall odds to win, but in this matchup he is favored against Finau and that I don’t see. Fleetwood was awful with the putter last week and it is hard to turn things around in just one week. Finau lives in Utah and is used to the altitude, so he should thrive on this course. I’ll take him at plus money.
Nick Dunlap -115 vs. Max Greyserman -115
You have to like what Dunlap is doing right now. He is coming off a tie for 5th last week that allowed him to move up in the standings and make it to this week. He actually won the U.S. Amateur at a course in Colorado, so we know he has no problem with the altitude. I’ll go with Dunlap in this golf matchup.
Viktor Hovland +100 vs. Hideki Matsuyama
Hovland turned the corner last week and looked like a top player again and he is one of my picks in the odds article. One of my go to strategies that has worked through the years is to go against the previous week’s winner. You could almost see last week coming after the adversity Matsuyama faced, but now he has his win and a letdown is likely. I’ll take Hovland at even money.
Byeong-Hun An +120 vs. Sungjae Im
I don’t know what has gone wrong with Im of late but I can’t see things getting any better for him in the altitude of Colorado. An is a player who can hit the ball a long way and he should thrive this week. I’ll take An at plus money in this PGA Tour matchup.
Justin Thomas +115 vs. Russell Henley
I don’t know why Henley is favored in this matchup. Thomas is playing better of late and if he gets his putter going, he could start winning again. I don’t know that Henley has the length to win on this course and I still think Thomas is the better player. I’ll take him at plus money in this golf matchup.
