September 27, 2024Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions Recap
A number of my bets from last week went sideways right out of the gates. Some I came back to cash tickets on, others I didn’t. The matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens proved to be one of them, and unfortunately, the three parlay legs recommendations all swung and missed. After Sean McDermott decided to play the field position game by punting and pinning Lamar Jackson and Co. back on their own 13-yard line following their opening possession, it took all of one play for Baltimore to get out in front when Derrick Henry took the hand-off and proceeded to rumble 87-yards to paydirt getting Baltimore out to a quick 7-0 lead less than four minutes into the match. It would only get worse from there with the Ravens taking care of business by land and by air ultimately outgaining the Bills 427-236 and coming up with chunk plays on the ground and touchdown passes when in the red zone.
Though Buffalo made it interesting pulling to within 21-10 early in the third quarter, Ty Johnson’s 3-yard touchdown scamper would prove to be the final time the then undefeated Bills would put a point on the board. With the Ravens pass D struggling mightily through the first three weeks, I figured Josh Allen would have himself a night both throwing and running with the pigskin once Baltimore overcompensated to prevent the onslaught downfield. It never came to pass—Allen only tucked it and ran five times for 21 yards to come short of exceeding his 30+ yard rushing prop. The 35-10 final never once saw Buffalo in a position to cash in on the NFL moneyline odds or come close to toppling their 22.5-point team total. It ended up being a complete misread on my part, which rewarded BetMGM Sportsbook with a few units of my bankroll.
Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
The Week 4 installment of Sunday Night Football takes NFL bettors to M&T Bank Stadium where Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens will welcome in Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills for an intriguing clash of AFC heavyweights. Both teams got in the win column last week with Sean McDermott’s squad laying the wood to the Jacksonville Jaguars to remain undefeated, while John Harbaugh’s troops finally got in the win column after holding on by the skin of their teeth to get out of “Jerry World” with the win and cover in tow. The refs handed us a tough L on Atlanta plus the points last week, which made it back-to-back 1-2 showings for my SNF parlay leg recommendations after splitting the player props. We cash all three tonight – SLAM YOUR MAN!!!
The NFL odds for this AFC bout hit the board with the Ravens lined 1.5-point home favorites and the Over/Under (O/U) set at 45.5. Though current action reports relay 70+ percent of the bets and money going the way of the visiting Bills at BetMGM Sportsbook, it’s the Ravens the betting line has moved in favor of with the number to beat up a full point to 2.5. No reverse line movement has occurred with the total however with it up a point to 46.5 by way of the over hogging up 65+ percent of the tickets and nearly 80 percent of the booked handle.

Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens NFL Same Game Parlay:
Though this game takes place in the Ravens backyard, I personally think linemakers have the wrong team favored which will has me stoked about grabbing the Bills on the moneyline for a juicier return on investment. While the caliber of opposition faced pales in comparison to what the Ravens have run up against to this point, the Bills murdered two of the three opponents schedule makers laid before them and are simply just playing the much better overall brand of ball to start the year. Baltimore’s recipe to finally get in the win column last week stemmed from heavy usage of Derrick Henry out of the backfield and the defense going all-out to shut CeeDee Lamb down—holding the Cowboys star WR1 to four catches for 67 scoreless yards. While Buffalo’s run D had issues dealing with the shifty running styles of Kyler Murray and De’Von Achane, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know the King isn’t cut from that same cloth. I also doubt Todd Monken sticks with the running game after going down a couple scores. Once Lamar Jackson is forced to pass, he’ll do so against a Bills secondary that’s been locking it down holding the opposition to less than 169 yards per game (#9) and measly 4.4 yards per pass attempt (#2) all the while averaging 2.0 interceptions per game (#3).
A quick look at Baltimore’s defensive outputs, and it becomes clear as day that this year’s unit isn’t cut from the mold Seahawks new head coach, Mike Macdonald, overlooked the last few seasons. While still a stonewall against the run (#1), it’s been nothing short of night and day defending the pass with the unit serving up a league-worst 291.7 yards per game and 7.5 yards per pass attempt (#28). Making matters even tougher for this maligned unit is that Buffalo doesn’t have a standout receiver it can voluntarily single out to take out of the game. Josh Allen has spread the ball around to all his pass catchers with Khalil Shakir’s 14 receptions the high-water mark. Whether successful or not, you know darn well Allen will take it upon himself to will the team to victory utilizing his legs. With the Ravens’ linebacker corps depleted by injuries and the Bills arguably marching the league’s best offensive line onto the gridiron, I fully expect No. 17 to find plenty of running lanes. When he decides to tuck it and run, he should be able to exploit those gaps effectively, leading to his team remaining undefeated and leaving the Ravens winless in front of their home crowd.
