September 12, 2024Caesars announced that they are bringing self-service sports betting kiosks to 53 small businesses to Washington, D.C. The Caesars Sportsbook wagering kiosks will replace the GambetDC sports wagering kiosks that are currently in place at OLG-licensed sports betting retail locations. Not only will the Caesars Sportsbook kiosks accept wagers, they will also accept cash deposits to Caesars Sportsbook mobile accounts.
“We appreciate the Office of Lottery and Gaming for providing us the opportunity to further our connection with sports fans in our nation’s capital,” said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital in a press release. “Our self-service betting kiosks are an excellent addition to our sports wagering options in D.C. Whether sports fans prefer a traditional ticket-in-hand wagering experience or want to simply deposit cash for their mobile app account, our kiosks enhance the premier sports betting experience we offer through the combination of options and convenience that supports dozens of small businesses locally.”

Caesars Sportsbook betting kiosks will offer the industry-leading sports wagering experience that sports fans are accustomed to via the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app, complete with thousands of markets and lightning-fast capabilities. Every bet made with Caesars Sportsbook, whether through the mobile app, at a kiosk, or in-person at Capital One Arena, earns Reward Credits that may be redeemed and made possible by Caesars Rewards, the best loyalty program in the business. Sports bettors can access the Caesars Sportsbook desktop or mobile app on iOS and Android devices if they are 21 years of age or older.
“D.C. residents and visitors will soon have access to best-in-class sports wagering kiosks at retail locations across the city,” said Eugene Vlasenko, Interim Executive Director of OLG in the press release. “We are pleased to partner with Caesars, a key industry player and the leader in retail sport betting operations, which is demonstrating its commitment to the D.C. community.”
With the exception of restricted regions, Caesars opened Caesars Sportsbook, its premier mobile sports wagering platform, throughout Washington, D.C. in July 2024. Since 2021, Caesars has provided live sports betting at Capital One Arena thanks to a historic alliance with Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE). Being the first sportsbook in a professional sports facility in the United States, Caesars Sportsbook at Capital One Arena made history.
As Caesars Sportsbook enters additional jurisdictions, Caesars Entertainment is dedicated to raising awareness of and educating people about responsible gaming. The Company updated its 21+ policy in 2023, certifying that all Caesars Rewards accounts are only made available to people who are 21 years of age or older. It also restricts access to all domestic gaming, pari-mutuel, sports, and iGaming options to those who are 21 years of age or older, where permitted by law. This 21 and older policy is applicable to all sports betting activities carried out by Caesars Sportsbook in Washington, D.C., including all in-person sports betting facilities as well as the Caesars Sportsbook app.
Caesars Entertainment’s increased 21 and older gaming policy will be enforced by Caesars Sportsbook self-service betting kiosks located around Washington, D.C. This policy, which is applicable to all of the company’s online and in-person activities, demonstrates Caesars’ dedication to responsible gaming and solidifies its standing as a pioneer in the sector.
