November 27, 2024Clippers at Timberwolves Same Game Parlay Recap
We hit our same game NBA parlay on Friday, November 29th with the Clippers plus the points and the game to go under the total. It is always great to hit a same game parlay winner and this one was relatively easy. The Clippers were always in the game against Minnesota and the game was always an easy under. The Timberwolves pulled out 93-92 outright win, but the Clippers easily covered the 6.5-point number and the game went way under the total of 212.5. Let’s recap our Clippers at Timberwolves same game parlay winner.
Clippers at Timberwolves Same Game Parlay Recap
In an NBA Cup game on Friday night, November 29th, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 93-92 thanks to 21 points on 7-for-21 shooting from Anthony Edwards, who helped the team end a four-game losing streak. The Timberwolves overcame 22 turnovers and another blown double-digit lead. They got 12 points and 10 rebounds from Nickeil Alexander-Walker and 11 points and 10 rebounds from Julius Randle.
With 4:10 remaining, the Clippers took their first lead since 27-26 thanks to James Harden, who finished with 20 points and 11 assists, and Ivica Zubac, who finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds. With 2:24 remaining, Edwards made a pull-up 3-pointer to put Minnesota ahead 92-90.
Zubac’s layup was the Clippers’ last basket in the last four minutes. With 1:29 remaining and his team losing by three points, Kevin Porter Jr., who finished with 17 points and seven rebounds for the Clippers, fumbled the ball out of bounds after rolling his left ankle during a drive to the basket.
The Timberwolves’ West Group A record was 2-2. With one game remaining in the group stage, the Clippers are 1-2. Both teams have little chance of making it to the in-season tournament quarterfinals.
The Clippers have been battling in the stacked West with star Kawhi Leonard (knee) out and starter Norman Powell (hamstring) out for the sixth consecutive game.
Clippers at Timberwolves Same Game Parlay
The Los Angeles Clippers visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night in a game that can be seen on ESPN. Both teams are right around the .500 mark entering this Friday night contest. The Clippers were not expected to be anything special so being around .500 is just fine for them, especially with Kawhi Leonard out of the lineup, but it is not good for Minnesota to be struggling around the break-even mark because a lot is expected from the Timberwolves this season. Not only has Minnesota struggled straight up, they have been a bad bet, covering just six of their first 16 games this season. Minnesota will be listed as the home favorite in NBA betting odds on Friday night. Let’s look at our Clippers vs. Timberwolves Same Game Parlay.

Los Angeles Clippers Team Overview
Los Angeles is playing the last game of a four-game road trip, as they were in Washington Wednesday and then had Thursday off. The Clippers were 11-8 SU and 11-7-1 ATS in their first 19 games with 12 of those 19 games going under the total. Norman Powell leads the team at 23.3 points per game, James Harden leads the team in assists at 8.7 per game, while Ivica Zubac leads the team with 12.4 rebounds per contest.
The Clippers are finding ways to win without Leonard in the lineup. “It’s tough anytime you lose your best player — we all know that,” said head coach Tyronn Lue, “But going into camp and knowing that we weren’t going to have Kawhi for a strong amount of the beginning of the season, we just knew what our team was going to be. After the first five, six games, we understood what our rotation was going to be, how we wanted to play, what guys fit well with who.” James Harden has played well for Los Angeles and has been leading by example. “We’re coming around, and we’re understanding who we are,” Harden said recently, “Understanding that in order for us to have a chance at anything, we know we have to do it every single night. And that’s the most exciting part. And then, one thing about this team, we’re all happy for each other. Literally, it can be anybody’s night, on any given night.”
Minnesota Timberwolves Team Overview
Minnesota is playing their third game in four days, as they were home against Houston on Tuesday and they hosted Sacramento on Wednesday before having Thursday off. Minnesota was 8-8 SU and 6-10 ATS in their first 16 games with nine games going over the total and seven going under. Anthony Edwards leads the team with 27.9 points per game, Mike Conley leads the team in assists at just 4.8 per contest, while Rudy Gobert leads the team in rebounding at 11.1 per contest.
Clippers vs. Timberwolves Series
Minnesota has won six of the last ten in this series and they are 6-4 ATS with four games going over the total and six going under. Minnesota won three of the four against the Clippers last season and went 3-1 ATS with three of the four going under the total. Somewhat surprisingly, this has been a road team series, as the Clippers have won six of the last 10 at Minnesota and they are 5-5 ATS with seven of the 10 going over the total.
Clippers at Timberwolves Same Game Parlay Pick
This is not a great spot for Minnesota as they will be playing their third game in four days and they haven’t been a good team to bet on this season. I’ll take the Clippers plus the points. The Clippers have been a good team to bet under the total, so I’ll also play the game under the total.
