February 3, 2022Super Bowl – Best Plays in Super Bowl History Part 2
February 3, 2022We’ve moved into the month of February meaning the college basketball postseason is nearly upon us. We’re starting to see some of the sport’s top teams move to the forefront as schools continue to battle for tournament seeding.
One of those teams on a run is Auburn, who’s won an incredible 18 straight games. They’ve posted a perfect 9-0 record in a competitive SEC and look to be worthy of their current No. 1 national ranking.
Teams like Duke, North Carolina, and Gonzaga are beginning to come into their own, too, as the year continues through the back half of the schedule.
Of course, there are also teams going in the wrong direction. Let’s take a look at who’s hot and who’s cold at BetMaker before you place your next NCAAB wagers.

Who’s Hot?
Auburn Tigers
The Tigers are the nation’s top team, having rolled off 18 consecutive victories enroute to a 21-1 overall record. They’ve yet to lose in conference play, and appear destined for a No. 1 seed in postseason play.
Not only are the Tigers winning, they’ve been a best bet against the college basketball odds. Auburn is 17-5 against the spread so far this year, including having covered 11 of their last 12 contests. They travel to play Georgia this weekend, a team they beat by 23 points just last month.
Boise State Broncos
Boise State doesn’t boast the competition that the Auburn Tigers do, but winning 14 straight games is nothing to scoff at, no matter who you’re playing. The Broncos are now 17-4 after a 3-4 start, and they’ve done it by beating some of college basketball’s top traditional teams.
The Broncos have taken down San Diego State, Utah State, Ole Miss, and Temple this year. They’re 9-5 against the spread in their 14-game winning streak, which includes a perfect 4-0 record as an underdog (all outright wins). Boise State money line bettors are up over $800 ($100 wagers) over this recent run.
UCLA Bruins
The Bruins are looking like one of college basketball’s top teams. At 16-2, they currently lead the PAC-12. UCLA has ripped off six straight wins in conference, taking down powerhouse Arizona along the way.
The Bruins are 11-1 since losing to Gonzaga back in November, winning with great defense. The under has hit in eight of those 12 matchups.
Gonzaga Bulldogs
Speaking of the Bulldogs, Gonzaga finds itself on a 10-game winning streak of its own. The competition isn’t the best playing in the West Coast Conference, but the Zags are covering 30-point lines on a regular basis.
The Bulldogs are 6-3 over their last nine games against the spread and are poised for another No. 1 seed when March rolls around. They currently hold the nation’s top championship odds at +600.
Who’s Not?
Louisville Cardinals
Louisville has struggled in ACC play of late, losing four straight contests. They’ve fallen to 11-11 on the season and below .500 in the conference. After starting 4-0 in league play, the Cardinals are now 5-7 and losers of seven of their last eight games.
Louisville has been awful against the spread since starting ACC action. The Cardinals are 1-11 versus the NCAAB betting odds, dropping the majority of those matchups as favorites.
West Virginia Mountaineers
West Virginia is in a rut since beginning conference play. The Mountaineers started the year 13-2 but have since lost six straight contests. They’re just 2-6 in Big XII action and things don’t get any easier this weekend versus Texas Tech.
The Mountaineers are struggling to cover lines, too. West Virginia is just 1-5 against the spread over the last six games, with poor defense leading to the over hitting in every single contest.
Texas A&M Aggies
The Aggies have lost five straight since beginning the season 15-2. Texas A&M jumped out to an impressive 4-0 conference record but has now fallen below .500 in SEC action.
While they have struggled to win, the Aggies are actually 4-1 against the spread during this losing streak. Keeping games close could be a sign that the team isn’t far off from tur
