February 24, 2023College Basketball Parlay Picks for Saturday, February 25, 2023
February 24, 2023We got some revenge on the Ohio State Buckeyes by fading them in West Lafayette. Purdue took care of business to get the Sunday Parlay Picks started off on the right foot. Unfortunately, that would be the only ticket cash of the afternoon ultimately ending our streak of adding to the bankroll on the final day of the week that dates back to the beginning of January. The North Carolina/NC State game was a tough watch. Both offenses exploded out of the gates but struggled the rest of the way before the Wolfpack pulled away late to cost us a ticket cash on the over. Shame on me for backing Iowa at Northwestern! The Wildcats were locked in from the opening tip and made sure the Hawkeyes weren’t able to bust out the broom. Here’s to getting in the black at PointsBet Sportsbook with three more investments you can confidently throw into parlay cards to close out the week!

Northwestern Wildcats vs. Maryland Terrapins
Date and Time: Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 12 PM EST
Location: XFINITY Center, College Park, MD
TV Coverage: Big Ten Network
Two of the slowest paced teams in the league close the week out in College Park with the No. 21 ranked Northwestern Wildcats set to square off against the unranked Maryland Terrapins. Chris Collins squad saw its five-game win streak come to an end in the 66-62 defeat but did extend its cover streak to six straight after cashing in as 7.5-point dogs. The Terps bounced back from that embarrassing overtime loss at Nebraska by thumping Minnesota last time out. Both teams are currently in line to snag a first round bye in the upcoming B1G tournament, so “A” efforts are expected from both sides.
That means both defenses should come to play and I’m here for it! With defensive efficiencies both ranked amongst the top-30 at KenPom and each offense known for going on scoring droughts, I’m expecting a rock fight to play out in this early tip. Neither shoots the three at an excelled clip and each is well-versed at protecting the paint with both teams marching out top-50 2-point defenses. Both teams also like to slow the game to a crawl. Look for the total to open in the high 120s and hit the under when it does. I’ll be on the first half under as well.

Wisconsin Badgers vs. Michigan Wolverines
Date and Time: Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2 PM EST
Location: Crisler Center, Ann Arbor, MI
TV Coverage: CBS
This is a huge game for Wisconsin and Michigan with each fighting for its NCAA Tournament lives. As it stands right now, the Badgers are in the Field of 68 as a member of the First Four, while the Maize and Blue are currently on the sideline looking in. It may seem crazy considering the Wolverines reside in sixth place and the Badgers 11th, but U of M’s poor 2-10 record versus Quad 1 opponents is doing it a major disservice. Wiscy on the other hand clocks in at 5-6 with one just logged at home against the Iowa Hawkeyes.
With the Wolverines out for revenge and coming off a pair of victories against Michigan State and Rutgers, I’m hoping linemakers inflate the number which allows us to throw a confident wager down on the Badgers plus the points. I really like what I’ve seen from Tyler Wahl and Co. in recent weeks now that the roster is the healthiest it’s been all season. As solid Michigan’s big three of Hunter Dickinson, Jett Howard, and Kobe Bufkin have been of late, I just think Wiscy has been playing the better overall team ball. I got this lined no higher than -3 in favor of the home team. I think the point spread will surface around 4-5 instead and that’s too much for a game likely to go down to the wire.

UCLA Bruins vs. Colorado Buffaloes
Date and Time: Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 4 PM EST
Location: CU Events Center, Boulder, CO
TV Coverage: CBS
This is a tricky spot for the Pac-12 leading and No. 4 ranked UCLA Bruins. Mick Cronin’s squad just picked up a hard-fought win in Salt Lake City against the Utes, and must now head to Boulder to once again play in the thin air against a Colorado outfit seeking same season revenge after dropping the first meeting in Pauley 68-54 as 12-point dogs back in the middle of January. We laid the points with the Bruins in that contest and came away extremely lucky after trailing the Buffs 31-28 at the break. It took a 17-0 explosion midway through the second half to get separation.
Colorado would turn it over a whopping 21 times in that tough to stomach defeat, but enters the rematch knowing full well it can hang with the conference leaders so long as it doesn’t commit self-inflicted damage. On top of that, Tristan Da Silva and Co. just got their teeth kicked in by the USC Trojans which saw them drop just their third game of the season on their home hardwood. I expect the Buffaloes to come out determined and stick in this one all the way through with UCLA likely hampered by fatigue throughout the second half.
