February 24, 2023College Basketball Parlay Picks for Wednesday, March 1, 2023
February 27, 2023I recommended another losing parlay card at PointsBet Sportsbook last week after only managing a ticket cash on one of three investments. The Volunteers and Aggies combined to just go over the total which made it the third under I backed in a Texas A&M game that lost due to late game free throws – good times! Creighton was up by as many as 16 points on Marquette in the first half. It ultimately went into halftime with an 8-point lead and then allowed the Golden Eagles to outscore them 41-31 in the second half to lose by a bucket – awesome! My ride or die – Texas Tech – prevented me from taking the collar after going into Oklahoma and dominating the Sooners. Let’s say we get back to adding to the bankroll with three more investments to confidently throw into parlay cards on Super Tuesday!

Florida Gators vs. Georgia Bulldogs
Date and Time: Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 7 PM EST
Location: Stegeman Coliseum, Athens, GA
TV Coverage: SEC Network
The Mike White Revenge Game Part II is set to play out in Athens on Tuesday night when the Florida Gators come to town for the second of two regular season meetings. The Dawgs dropped an 82-75 decision in Gainesville as 8.5-point underdogs in the first go-round. Florida was able to keep UGA at an arm’s length by draining 49 percent of its shots from the field while swatting away nine Georgia shots.
Colin Castleton played a big role in the win with 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 blocks. He however won’t be available for the rematch after breaking his hand. Georgia played even on the glass with him in the lineup (35-35), and also converted 10 of 20 attempts from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs have been nothing short of a train wreck for the better part of the last month and a half in managing just three wins through 12 tries, but it’s Senior Night and I fully expect Terry Roberts and Co. to go out with a bang!

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Kansas Jayhawks
Date and Time: Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 9 PM EST
Location: Allen Fieldhouse, Lawrence, KS
TV Coverage: ESPN
Here I go fading my Jayhawks again! Saturday’s home loss to the TCU Horned Frogs snapped the Red Raiders four-game win streak that saw them upend K-State, Texas, @West Virginia, and @Oklahoma. It also snapped their five-game win streak against the college basketball odds of which we also rode after backing them plus the points in that 71-68 defeat at Oklahoma State.
The first matchup with Kansas was played incredibly close back in early January. Both teams tore it up from the field (49-47%), played even on the glass (28-28), and combined for 26 total turnovers (12-14). Though Kevin Obanor and Co. failed to come through for us over the weekend, I still think they’re playing a brand of ball that can’t be ignored. Kansas will be extremely tough to beat on Senior Night, but they’ll be laying close to 10 points and that’s a price point I simply can’t pass on knowing full well Texas Tech has covered three straight when dogged on the Big 12 road.

South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs
Date and Time: Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 9 PM EST
Location: Humphrey Coliseum, Starkville, MS
TV Coverage: SEC Network
Don’t look now, but Tolu Smith and his mates are playing the type of ball that could see the team make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament provided they run up against perimeter oriented opponents that can’t rebound worth a lick. Mississippi State will enter its home finale having rattled off wins in seven of its last nine games with the two defeats coming by a grand total of five points against Kentucky at home and Mizzou on the road (OT). It just disposed of Texas A&M at home and will welcome this scrimmage against a Gamecocks team it upended 66-51 as 9.5-point favorites back on January 31. The Bulldogs won both halves by way of shooting 53 percent from the field, outboarding the Cocks 32-26, and forcing a whopping 18 turnovers.
SC has managed covers as hefty underdogs in five of its last seven games, but it should have 100 percent of the Dawgs attention and serve its purpose as the sacrificial lamb sent to slaughter. Look for a big showing on Senior Night with it being the final showing in the Humphrey Coliseum for eight of them – Lay the first half chalk as well!
