December 26, 2024Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
December 27, 2024The Philadelphia Eagles will attempt to get back on track and bounce back from last week’s tough loss against Washington in Week 17 betting action when they welcome the Dallas Cowboys into the “City of Brotherly Love” for the rivals final clash of the year. The Dallas Cowboys threw a wrench in Tampa Bay’s plans of winning the NFC South and punching a ticket to the postseason last Sunday night by ousting the Bucs 26-24 as 4-point home dogs. The Eagles last second 36-33 loss to the Commies likely cost it a shot at the NFC’s top seed, but it could also prove costlier for down the road with Jalen Hurts still in the concussion protocol that has his availability for this game up in the air at the time of this writing.
BetMGM Sportsbook opened the NFL odds for this division rematch up with the Eagles installed hefty 11.5-point favorites and the total lined 43.5. Each market has been corrected by the NFL betting market sine with Philly now only laying 7-points with Dallas aligned with 54% of the bets and 74% of the money. With the Cowboys announcing they’ve shut CeeDee Lamb down for the season and Hurts listed as questionable, total bettors hammered the under with a heavy percentage of the action forcing a line move down to 39.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles NFL Same Game Parlay:
Despite being eliminated from postseason contention, the Dallas Cowboys displayed resilience in Week 16 with an impressive 26-24 outright victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as 4-point underdogs per the closing NFL betting lines. While their season has been plagued by earlier struggles, Dallas has turned things around with four wins in its last five games, defeating the Commanders (34-26), Giants (27-20), Panthers (30-14), and Bucs, with their only loss going down to the wire against the Bengals (20-27). A significant factor in the turnaround has been the return of Micah Parsons to lead the defense and Brian Schottenheimer’s decision to feature Rico Dowdle in the backfield. Though Dowdle struggled last Sunday night, managing just 23 yards on 13 carries, Parsons and the defensive unit delivered when it counted, even while allowing 410 total yards and a perfect 3-for-3 red zone conversion rate. Now sitting just one game below .500 and seemingly determined to finish strong, the Cowboys head to Philadelphia in Week 17 for a rematch with the Eagles.
The regression monster finally caught up with the Philadelphia Eagles, and it struck hard last Sunday in Landover. Their impressive 10-game win streak came to an end in a thrilling 36-33 loss to the division rival Commanders. Nick Sirianni’s squad raced out to a commanding 14-0 lead, thanks largely to Saquon Barkley’s stellar play in the backfield. However, the momentum shifted dramatically when Jalen Hurts was sidelined with a concussion during his third scramble of the game. From that moment on, the Eagles were outscored 36-26, a collapse that jeopardized their hopes of securing the NFC’s top seed. Despite forcing five turnovers, the defense had no solution for Jayden Daniels, who led Washington to 368 total yards of offense, 23 first downs, and touchdowns on three of four red-zone trips—including the game-winning score with just six seconds left. Now, Philadelphia must regroup and refocus for a critical Week 17 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys at the Linc. Dallas, eager for revenge after a Week 10 loss on their home turf, will be looking to even the season series and derail the Eagles’ playoff aspirations.
Back in Week 10, the Eagles dominated Dallas with a 34-6 rout in “Jerry World” as touchdown favorites. Even if Hurts is unable to go and the Eagles ultimately run with Ian Book to lead the offense if Kenny Pickett is also deemed unavailable, I don’t think the Eagles will have any issues disposing of a Cowboys outfit that should have no intention of competing in this one. The franchise already elected to shut CeeDee down for the year, and did enough damage to its playoff stock last week with the win over the Buccaneers. It’ll be all about Saquon and the defense on Sunday, and that should be more than enough for the home team to pull out a win reminiscent of the one attained back in Week 10 when it held Dallas to less than 150 yards of combined offense and forced five turnovers.
