FedEx St. Jude Championship Odds and Picks
August 13, 2024LIV Golf Greenbrier Odds and Picks
August 14, 2024The FedExCup Playoffs get started this week with the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis. The Top 70 in the FedExCup standings qualified for the playoffs and the Top 50 after this tournament will make it into next week’s BMW Championship. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is listed as the favorite this week at odds of +375 at Caesars. The good news for the golf picks is that I am red-hot picking winners overall, as I had Aaron Rai winning the Wyndham last week to make it three straight winners. The bad news is that the matchups had a rotten week at the Wyndham. Let’s see if we can get those turned around as the playoffs begin. Let’s look at FedEx St. Jude Championship matchup picks.
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money. Check out the latest FedEx St. Jude Championship matchup odds at Caesars.
Tournament Notes: TPC Southwind is a par 70 that stretches out to 7,243 yards. There will be no cut so all 70 players will make it to the weekend.

Golf Matchup Picks
Patrick Cantlay -120 vs. Hideki Matsuyama
Cantlay has had a quiet season but he still is 11th in points so he could make a big run. He won the FedExCup title in 2021 and he has played well in this event, losing in a playoff last year. Matsuyama didn’t play well at the Scottish Open and Open. He has played well at TPC Southwind but I still have Cantlay as the better player and I will take Cantlay in this golf betting matchup.
Adam Scott -125 vs. Jason Day
It has been a resurgence this season for Scott who is back in the FedExCup Playoffs for the first time in a couple years. He tied for 5th in this event two years ago. He is playing well with a runner-up at the Genesis Scottish Open, and a T10 at The Open. I never know what to expect from Day from week to week. I’ll take Scott in this matchup.
Tom Kim -115 vs. Sungjae Im
I mentioned Kim in the odds preview. He has been excellent in approach play lately and we know that approach play is critical at TPC Southwind. Kim is coming off an 8th place finish at the Olympics and he gained 7.9 strokes on approach in that event. Kim has finished in the top 25 in his last two appearances in this event. Im didn’t play well last time out at the Wyndham but he has been solid in this event. I backed Kim in the odds preview and I will take him here.
Ben Griffin -110 vs. Max Greyserman
I think it will be really hard for Greyserman to put last week behind him quickly. It was simply incomprehensible what Greyserman did last week in losing the Wyndham. Griffin has been really good with his approach play lately and I expect him to play well this week. He also ranks first in the field in Bermudagrass putting in the last three years.
Corey Conners -125 vs. Viktor Hovland
Conners has the type of game that does well at TPC Southwind. He is excellent tee-to-green and he comes in playing well with three top 10 finishes. He tied for 6th in this event a year ago. It has been a disappointing season for Hovland and I don’t see him turning the corner this week. I’ll take Conners in this golf matchup.Check out the latest FedEx St. Jude Championship matchup odds at Caesars.
