January 25, 2024NFL Betting Parlays – Conference Championship Games
January 26, 2024If you’re looking to play a NBA parlay the schedule for Friday, January 26 has a little bit of everything. There were a few trades made recently with the Indiana Pacers looking to bolster their lineup with the acquisition of Pascal Siakam. Perhaps the Pacers are still in a transition period since they dropped their first three games since swinging the deal with Toronto. Indy will attempt to get back in the win column and put a stretch of five losses in six games behind them when they host Phoenix. The Suns are going the opposite direction bringing a 7-game winning streak into the contest with a 3-3-1 record against the NBA betting line in those games.
Conceding to a rebuild with the parting of Siakam, the Raptors will show off their new lineup against the streaking LA Clippers. Climbing the West standings and the NBA futures odds board, the Clips open a 7-game road trip needing to stockpile wins against below .500 teams with matchups against Boston, Cleveland and Miami also on the trip. The Clips have made backers plenty of money at BetRivers sportsbook going 9-3 as a NBA betting pick in their last 12 games.
There was also news out of Milwaukee earlier in the week when the Bucks parted with ways with rookie coach Adrian Griffin even though they were 30-13 and second in the East prior to the move. The Bucks have plenty of offensive weaponry but struggled to stop teams this season. They dropped into the bottom fourth of the NBA in defense after finishing fourth last season. The Bucks and new head coach Doc Rivers entertain the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second of consecutive games following Milwaukee’s 126-116 NBA point spread victory on Wednesday night.

I have yet to hit a NBA parlay this season though I’ve been close on several occasions. Last week wasn’t one of them with two of my bets losing and the third game being postponed due to the death of a Golden State Warriors assistant coach. That won’t prevent me from moving forward, though, with plenty of time to recoup some of my first half losses. The Pacers feel like they can contend in the East making the move for Siakam to show they mean business. They do need Tyrese Haliburton on the floor and he won’t be available. With seven straight wins this is the Suns team we expected to see and they’re doing it with a smothering defense. They will also get enough offense from their big guns to cover the NBA point spread in this one.
It’s better to catch the Clippers now then at the end of their 7-game Grammy’s road trip. And they get an opponent ripe for the picking. The Raptors traded O.G. Anunoby and Pascal Siakam in recent weeks and are working with a patchwork lineup that needs time to mesh. And they are sinking in the East with just two wins in their last 10 games. The Clippers are on a torrid pace since a six-game skid in November that followed the acquisition of James Harden. Since that slide they’ve gone a ridiculous 28-7 with nine NBA betting line wins in their last 12 games. It’s been a few years but a return to Toronto for Kawhi Leonard where he won a championship should spark a big game.
The last NBA pick on my parlay won’t spark much interest outside the team markets, but it could potentially be a wild one between teams that don’t play a lot of defense. The Portland Trail Blazers and San Antonio Spurs are slugging it out for last place in the West so playoffs even at this juncture are out. The Spurs concede more than 122 points a game with opponents scoring at least 124 points in their last four games cashing the OVER. And the Blazers have no one who can stop Victor Wembanyama giving this game a good chance to see enough points to go over the NBA betting line total.
