Friday, March 1 NBA Parlay Picks

Building a NBA parlay at Caesars sportsbook is easy with nine games to choose from on the schedule for Friday, March 1. I don’t know if we can call it the home stretch yet but we are into the final full month of the 2023-24 NBA season and time is running out for teams to make a push for playoff positioning. One club that doesn’t need a push is the Boston Celtics, who have been the best team all season. The Cs put their nine-game winning streak on the line against the Dallas Mavericks in the first game of ESPN’s doubleheader. The Milwaukee Bucks have apparently rallied around Doc Rivers, buying what he’s selling and the results have changed. Losers in seven of their first 10 under Rivers, the Bucks saw their futures odds and the gap in the Eastern Conference standings grow. However, they are undefeated since the All-Star break with three payouts as a NBA line pick. One other game of note on the docket has West co-leader Minnesota at home against the Sacramento Kings. Following a stretch where the Wolves went just 4-3 and briefly dropped from first in the West, they’ve won six of their last seven games going 5-2 as a NBA odds pick.

We know close only counts in a few things and NBA parlays aren’t one of them. Players will say it doesn’t make a difference if you lose by one point or a hundred points it’s still a loss. And it doesn’t matter if I hit one or two of my individual wagers because if I don’t hit all of them it’s still a big L. My three-teamer didn’t work out last week with Orlando letting me down again. I think I’ll stay away from them for awhile and I’ll have to on this day since the Magic aren’t scheduled.

The Mavs suffered a brutal defeat on Tuesday when Cleveland’s Max Strus swished a game winning three from the other side of mid-court. They opened their current road trip with two losses and now get the toughest test on the four-game trek against Boston. The Mavs have put together a good season with Luka Doncic a MVP candidate. The return of Kyrie Irving to the Garden will spark Dallas and the Mavs will get the straight up win, which is why my NBA pick is Dallas on the moneyline.

The Bucks have figured things out and if they continue to play defense like they have during a three-game winning streak they should be considered in the futures market before odds adjust. A reason for the coaching change was their inability to stop opponents. Milwaukee was one of the worst defensive clubs in the NBA under Adrian Griffin, but in their last seven games the Bucks held four opponents to fewer than 100 points. They’ve also been a boon to UNDER bettors playing below the total on the NBA betting line in 12 of 15 games since the change. Chicago has three payouts against the Bucks so their luck is due to change. Besides they just lost to Detroit on Tuesday, backing the Bucks on the NBA betting line and the UNDER are my.

My winning parlay card will come when the New Orleans Pelicans and Indian Pacers play OVER the total in their matchup. It’s the first of consecutive meetings between the two so I better catch them before adjustments are made. The addition of Pascal Siakam has only bolstered the Pacers lineup, which by the way leads the NBA in scoring and field goal percentage. The Pels haven’t been too shabby either averaging more than 116 points while ranking among the top 5 in field goal and three-point percentage. The Pels play enough defense to keep the total from too high and giving me confidence with my NBA betting pick.
