January 22, 2025Heat at Bucks Same Game Parlay Pick Recap
I am red-hot with the NBA same game parlay picks of late, as it was another same game parlay winner on Thursday, January 23rd with the Bucks and under. Milwaukee completely throttled the Miami Heat, winning 125-96 in a game that stayed under the total. Despite travel difficulties, the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Miami Heat 125-96 on Thursday for their fifth consecutive win, led by 29 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds from Damian Lillard. Before leaving with 3:57 left, Lillard seemed to record his fourth career triple-double; however, the 10th rebound that had been attributed to him was later reclassified.
Due to the Bucks’ difficulties leaving New Orleans, which experienced a historic snowstorm on Tuesday, the start time was postponed by one hour. Less than three hours before the game on Thursday was set to begin, the Bucks’ jet touched down in Milwaukee. The Bucks game against New Orleans on Wednesday was postponed.
Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Gary Trent Jr. made 7 of 10 3-pointers and scored a season-high 21 points. Miami’s Kel’el Ware finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Tyler Herro finished with 21 points and nine assists.
For what the Heat called a “continued pattern of disregard of team rules, insubordinate conduct, and conduct detrimental to the team,” Jimmy Butler of Miami started serving a two-game suspension. In order to survive Butler’s absence, Miami had to perform at its highest level. Instead, the Heat were unable to slow down Milwaukee and were unable to take advantage of the Bucks’ delayed arrival in Milwaukee. The Bucks did start slow, as they were down 18-3 early, but they quickly erased the deficit and scored more than 120 points for the sixth straight game.
In the last seconds of the first half, Lillard scored six points to put the team ahead 71-55. He made three free throws after Duncan Robinson fouled him on a 3-pointer. Lillard nailed a corner three after Ware threw away the inbounds ball. Lillard had a lot of success even though he went scoreless for the first 18+ minutes of the first half.
Heat at Bucks Same Game Parlay Pick
Two teams headed in the opposite directions meet on Thursday night when the Miami Heat visit the Milwaukee Bucks on TNT. The Heat are dealing with the Jimmy Butler saga and until they trade him, or find some sort of solution, they are likely to continue to struggle. On the other side, the Bucks have started to hit their stride, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo who is averaging over 31 points per game this season. This is the start of a two-game road trip for the Heat, as they are coming off a game at home against Portland on Tuesday. This will be a back-to-back situation for the Bucks, as they were in New Orleans on Wednesday night. I am coming off a nice parlay winner last week with the Kings beating the Rockets and the game going over the total. Let’s look at our Heat vs. Bucks Same Game Parlay picks.

Miami Heat
The Heat were 20-2 SU and 17-23 ATS in their first 40 games with 22 games going over the total and 18 going under. The are averaging just 110.8 points per game which is 21st in the league and they are giving up 110.1 points per game which is 7th in the league. Tyler Herro leads the team in scoring at 24.2 points per game and he leads them in assists with five per game. Bam Adebayo leads the team with 9.7 rebounds per game. The Heat have Butler back in the starting lineup after his suspension ended but the situation between Butler and the Heat is not a good one. “I guess it’s basketball at this point,” Butler said to the media, “I know what I’m expected to do while I’m here. I tried to do that to the best of my ability, but we are where we are.”
Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks were 23-17 SU and 18-21-1 ATS in their first 40 games with 20 games going over the total and 20 going under. They are averaging 113.8 points per game which is 13th in the league and they are giving up 111.2 points per contest which ranks 10th in the NBA. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the team in scoring at 31.4 points per game and in rebounding with 11.9 per contest, while Damian Lillard leads the team in assists with 7.2 per contest.
Heat vs. Bucks Series
The teams have split their last 10 meetings both straight up and against the spread with eight of the 10 going over the total. The teams met in Miami in late November and it was the Bucks pulling out a 106-103 road win in a game that went under the total. The Bucks have won 7 of the last 10 at home in this series and they are 6-4 ATS with nine of the 10 going over the total.
Heat at Bucks Same Game Parlay Pick
I don’t know how you can bet on the Heat right now with the Butler saga hanging over the team. Miami would normally be in a spot where I would look to take the them, as Milwaukee is playing with no rest, but Miami is simply a dysfunctional team right now. The Heat are good enough to make a run and get into the playoffs if they get this Butler situation worked out. It appears they are going to have to trade Butler whether they want to or not. Until that happens the Heat are a team that I will probably avoid. The Bucks have been playing well of late and as long as Giannis is in the lineup, I’ll take the Bucks in this one. The series had been one to play over the total, but the last couple of meetings have been lower scoring. I’ll take Milwaukee and also play the game under the total.
