Indiana Hoosiers at Kansas Jayhawks
The Hoosiers are averaging 81.4 points per game and they have been very efficient, as they are 4th in the country in field goal percentage at just over 51%. They are giving up 63.8 points per game which is just 80th in the country. Trayce Jackson-Davis leads the team in scoring at 16.8 points per game and he leads the team in rebounding at 8.4 per contest. Xavier Johnson leads the team in assists at just over five per game.
Kansas is averaging 79.4 points per game which ranks 57th in the country. They are giving up 65.6 points per game. Jalen Wilson leads the team in scoring at 22.1 points per game and he leads the team in rebounding at 9.4 per contest. Dajuan Harris Jr. leads the team in assists at 6.5 per game.
Indiana head coach Mike Woodson said that his team needs to follow the game plan if they are to have a chance on Saturday. “Well-coached. I know Bill [Self] very well. I’ve watched him work over the years. As an NBA coach we used to do some clinics together way back in the day. He always has his teams ready to play.” The Hoosiers are not getting many breaks from their schedule right now, but Woodson said the team can’t complain. “We can’t run from the schedule.” Woodson said to the media, “We have already put the schedule together. We have to go on the road and try to win a game.” Indiana and Kansas have not met since 2016 when it was Indiana winning 103-99.

Indiana Hoosiers at Kansas Jayhawks Free Pick
We are coming off a nice sweep last week as we had Arizona and over. As we look at Saturday’s contest, we have Indiana playing yet another tough game. This time around the Hoosiers have more of a chance than they had against Arizona. The matchup against the Wildcats was not a good one for Indiana but this situation is definitely better. Indiana has had an entire week to get ready for this game and they have had plenty of practice time. Woodson has been focusing on getting his team to rebound better and compete for a full 40 minutes. Extra practice time will definitely help Indiana. The atmosphere at Allen Fieldhouse won’t be easy, but Indiana has enough experience to handle the tough crowd. The big factor for me in this game is the pointspread. The Jayhawks are going to be favored and Kansas has not been a good team this season covering the spread. I think Indiana can hang around in this game and the points are worth taking. I also think that the Hoosiers will once again be a good team to bet over the total. Indiana scores plenty of points and sometimes struggles on defense. The same thing can be said at times about Kansas. I’ll take Indiana on Saturday and also play the game to go over the total.
