Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
November 15, 2024Tennessee vs. Georgia Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
November 15, 2024A late Saturday night slugfest is set to go down in Mormon country where the Kansas Jayhawks and No. 6 BYU Cougars will collide on the gridiron as Big 12 rivals for the first time. Much is on the line for Kalani Sitake’s Cougars who by going unscathed the remainder of the college football betting season would punch an unexpected ticket to the now expanded College Football Playoff. As for Kansas, it’s only playing for bowl game eligibility after grossly failing to live up to heightened preseason expectations with some pundits of the belief Lance Leipold’s squad would make a run at a CFP bid. Now, it only gets a shot to play spoiler against a conference newcomer. Linemakers at Caesars Sportsbook opened this bad boy up with host BYU laying 3.5-points and the total lined 55.5. Both NCAAF odds markets have been corrected since with the CFB spread down to 2.5 and the O/U up a full point to 56.5 with 52 and 83 percent of the money in favor of the line moves, respectively. Kansas clocks in 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS on the true road with the total split, while BYU stands 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS as a host with the over paying out three times.
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money.

Kansas Jayhawks vs. BYU Cougars CFB Same Game Parlay:
The Jayhawks opened the season with an 8.5-game season win total and was expected to be in the mix to win the Big 12 along with K-State, Utah, and Arizona. After starting the year off with a less than impressive 48-3 win and non-cover as near 50-point favorites against Lindenwood, Kansas hit the road the following week for the first time and dropped a 23-17 decision to an Illinois team it had no business losing to. That disappointing defeat was then followed up with a 23-20 loss at home to UNLV which saw the Runnin’ Rebs score the game-winning touchdown with only two minutes remaining a week removed from serving up the game winner to the Fighting Illini with less than a minute on the clock. The two-game losing streak was extended to five after dropping their first three Big 12 tilts against West Virginia, TCU, and Arizona State—games they held second half or fourth quarter leads in. The bleeding stopped at home against Houston, but another heartbreaker ensued the week after when Kansas pissed down its leg and allowed Kansas State to score six unanswered fourth quarter points to score the 29-27 win. KU returned from its bye last week and upset Iowa State as short 2-point home dogs in a game Jalon Daniels threw for 295 yards and 2 TD and Devin Neal became the program’s all-time leading rusher.
Now sitting 3-6 both SU and ATS, Kansas must win out over the next three weeks to become bowl eligible—hardly the scenario the team envisioned it would be in heading into the regular season. As much as I’d like to see the upperclassmen pull of the feat, I don’t think this team deserves it. It’s grossly underperformed and isn’t to be trusted with my hard earned money as recklessly it closes halves out and gut punches its wagering supporters by folding when it matters most with the game on the line. BYU on the other hand is the type of team I can get behind. It’s already pulled off a pair of huge outright upset wins against SMU and K-State with Jake Retzlaff and his mates routinely putting themselves in a position to come out on the right side of the scoreboard evidenced by pulling out hard-fought comeback wins against Oklahoma State and Utah in recent weeks.
LaVell Edwards Stadium is no joke! It’s been a stomping ground for the Cougars for as long as I can remember with the 2024 CFB betting season being no different. While a huge contingent of crimson and blue will be in the stands, it won’t be enough to counteract the 55K+ in attendance that will be screaming their heads off with this being the first time they’ve put eyeballs on their team since defeating OK-State back on October 18. This should be an exciting matchup from the opening kick, with both offenses likely to land a number of body blows. In the end, however, the Cougars’ ability to protect the football, combined with a clearly superior defense, should lead to a key stop or turnover that allows the home team to pull ahead by two scores and win by margin. Lay the disrespectful short number and hit the over for this late night same-game parlay!
