Bryson DeChambeau is the captain of Crushers GC and they are the defending champs. Jon Rahm, who won the Individual Championship, is the captain of the Legion XIII team. The top three teams in the standings receive a bye, so Crushers CG, Legion XIII and Ripper GC will not play until Saturday. The 4th through 8th teams in the standings will play teams 9th through 13th with the winners advancing to Saturday’s quarterfinals. Notes: The action takes place from Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22, competing for a massive $50 Million dollar prize purse. Teams that are seeded five through 13 will compete in head-to-head match-play competitions on Friday. For each head-to-head matchup, three matches will take place: two singles matches and one alternate shot (foursomes) match. Each match winner receives one point. Teams that earn two points will advance to Saturday’s play. Saturday’s play will have teams seeded one through three joining the five winning teams from Friday for head-to-head match play in the same format as Friday. The four teams earning two points will advance to Sunday’s final competition. Those four teams will compete in stroke play with all four scores counting toward the team’s score. The team with the lowest score will be the LIV Golf Invitational Series Team champion.

The top two teams in LIV Golf Team Championship Dallas odds are Crushers GC and Legion XIII. Crushers GC is the top seed and the defending champions. Bryson DeChambeau led the team by finishing eighth in the individual standings. The good news for Crushers GC is that Anirban Lahiri is playing well but the bad news is that Charles Howell III has not played well since returning from injury.
Legion XIII is the No. 2 seed and they are led by individual champion Jon Rahm. He is playing better than anyone in LIV right now and he could carry the team to the title. The concern for Legion is that Caleb Surratt is not playing well, having finished in last place in Chicago.

Smash GC +750
We know that captain Brooks Koepka ups his game in big events so I expect this team to play well this week. They get the benefit of choosing their opponent on Friday and that should help their cause. They need Jason Kokrak to play up to his potential, but he is capable of having a big week. I’ll go with Smash to contend for the title.
Fireballs GC +1000
Why not the Fireballs for a big finish in Texas? They finished third in Chicago and Sergio Garcia continues to play well. The team is also getting good play of late from Abraham Ancer and David Puig. They could be the team that cracks into the final four for Sunday and then anything is possible.’
RangeGoats GC +2500
My one longshot is the RangeGoats who have played better of late with back-to-back T5 finishes. This course in Texas is long and that should play right into the strengths of RangeGoats. They have Matthew Wolff and Bubba Watson who are long off the tee and Peter Uihelin and Thomas Pieters can also hit the ball a ton.
