November 8, 2024Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Rams Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions Recap
The Miami Dolphins halted a three-game losing streak by going into Tinseltown and coming out with a hard-fought 23-15 outright victory against the Los Angeles Rams under the Monday night lights. In doing so, Mike McDaniel’s squad moved to 3-6 both SU and against the NFL odds to keep their postseason hopes alive. Tua Tagovailoa threw for 207 yards, including a touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill, who ended his career-long scoring drought with his first TD since the opening week of the NFL betting season. Even so, he only went for 16 receiving yards—I guess the wrist injury prevented him from entering the stratosphere of his receiving yards prop!
The Dolphins’ defense held strong, keeping the Rams out of the end zone despite allowing 327 total yards and forcing two crucial turnovers. Rookie Malik Washington scored his first NFL touchdown on an 18-yard rush, setting the tone for Miami’s offense. The Dolphins also converted six key third downs, with Tagovailoa especially effective, completing 9 of 12 passes on third down for 137 yards. Jason Sanders added three field goals, including a clutch 50-yarder late in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach for the home team. For the Rams, Matthew Stafford threw for 293 yards, but the offense faltered, relying on five field goals from rookie kicker Joshua Karty. Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp contributed significantly with 98 and 80 receiving yards, respectively, yet Los Angeles failed to score a touchdown for the first time this season, ending a three-game win streak to move the team to 4-5 SU and 3-6 ATS for the year.
As much as I loved Miami to win this game outright at Caesars Sportsbook knowing full well their season would for all intents and purposes be over with a loss, I expected way more fireworks. The 38 combined points never sniffed the 50-point total with the Fins coming up short of exceeding their 27.5-point alt total as well. De’Von Achane was shockingly held to 52 scrimmage yards, while Hill was only targeted four times. Heck, Jaylen Waddle saw half of his six overall targets on the game’s first drive. This isn’t the Miami Dolphins offensive attack I came to know and love these last two seasons. I don’t know what McDaniel is smoking these days, but he better go back to the strain that was working for him in the 2022 and 2023 seasons—this one clearly isn’t it!
Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Rams Same Game Parlay Picks, Odds & Predictions
A fun one is lined up to close out Week 10 betting action under the lights of Monday Night Football in Tinseltown where the Los Angeles Rams will be gunning for a fourth straight win against a Miami Dolphins team looking to score a huge win that turns their respective season around. Mike McDaniel’s troops put forth one of their best showings of the NFL betting season last week in Buffalo, but it ended in heartbreak from 61-yards out at the gun. Meanwhile, Sean McVay’s troops banked a third straight NFL odds victory in the Pacific Northwest after outlasting the Seahawks in overtime after getting huge contributions from what’s been a pretty bad defense to this point. Caesars Sportsbook opened this non-con matchup with LA installed field goal favorites and the Over/Under lined 50 amounting to the highest total of the week’s slate. Though a heavy majority of the money has aligned itself with the Rams and the under, reverse line movement pushed the NFL spread down to 1 with the total yet to budge off the opener.
Reduced juice betting is one of the best ways for any sports bettor to save money and far too many people don’t take advantage of it. If you are not playing at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice betting then you are simply giving away money.

Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Rams NFL Same Game Parlay:
The 2024-25 season hasn’t gone exactly as planned for the Miami Dolphins who entered the year with a 9.5-game win total that was bet up to 10 and lined -155 favorites to punch a ticket back to the playoffs a third straight time. Unfortunately, the concussion suffered by Tua Tagovailoa in the Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills set the team back terribly. Without their QB1 under center, the Fins dropped three of four games and looked listless in doing so averaging a paltry 10 points per game. Though the team has dropped each of the two games played with No. 1 back under center, the offense has looked more like itself in posting 27 points in one and three-point losses to the Cardinals and Bills. De’Von Achane and Raheem Mostert proved to be the steadying forces in both games with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle yet to fully erupt. That ends tonight with the duo set to run up against a porous Rams defense ranked in the bottom third of the league at defending both the run (#24) and pass (#23). Tonight my NFL betting friends will be the night Miami hangs the crooked number we’ve all been waiting for!
A near carbon copy of the Dolphins but just further along, the Rams’ offense was also castrated early on after losing the services of its primetime pass catchers with both Cooper Kupp and
Puka Nacua feeling the wrath of the injury bug. Like the garbage Miami marched under center in Tagovailoa’s stead, Matthew Stafford had major issues putting points on the board with the skeleton crew at his disposal. The unit only averaged 18.8 points per game in the duo’s absence leading to 2-3 straight up and 1-4 against the spread records. Since each has returned to the huddle, Los Angeles has put a total of 56 points on the board over the last two weeks. Most importantly, they were able to put two tallies in the win column after getting the best of the Vikings and Seahawks. Even so, the defense still surrendered its fair share of yardage and points forcing the offense into action, repeatedly. I foresee that once again being the case this evening.
Week 10 already began with a bang after the Baltimore Ravens outlasted the Cincinnati Bengals 32-31, and I expect the week to close in the same fashion with the Dolphins and Rams exchanging punches en route to hanging another big number on the board that has prop and fantasy pundits having a fun time keeping up. That being said, I also expect the Dolphins to be the side that comes up with the stops and or forced turnovers needed to come out the victor. Miami’s defense has been sneaky good thus far with it ranked No. 7 overall in allowing just over 303 yards per game while limiting the opposition to 23.4 points per game (#17). LA will still undoubtedly get theirs, but it won’t be enough to prevent the Dolphins from coming up with the must-have win desperately needed to better its already slim playoff chances.
